That kicker looks like a guy that will shoot up a school in the near future, not sure I would want to fuck with him
Just kick a FG. The bigger issue is blown leads but I still don't know how you fault a record setting offensive day other than scoring too fast and leaving too much time for your trash defense to throw it away
Probably. I'm also curious what was said only because the kicker was slamming equipment coming off the field. So not sure if the backup QB said something about the kick or for him to calm down Either way...not your place as the backup QB to go up to him then unless he was somehow hit by the flying helmet. Probably should still not saying anything if so
Watching it again the guy next to the kicker also wanted to knock his ass out. So I'll just assume he said something really fucking stupid. Good riddance
I mean I won't trash an entire teams "discipline" becusee of one guy who can't see the field and would otherwise not dress if it weren't for opt outs...acts like a little coward towards the kicker becusee he doesn't have the balls to say something to the defense.
Obviously this year doesn’t count, but at what point next season do we decide we as a TMB fan base we want to launch Heup into the sun? I haven’t hated a UCF coach since GOL and I feel like that was our prime as a thread.
Offense looks great. Defense is terrible. If we’re anything less than conference champ game winners, he’s gotta go.
Randy goes if we lose another game. I think Heup gets a pass this year but if we win ten or less next year he's on the hot seat theyear after
Randy was probably done end of this year anyway, right? I kinda think all HCs get a pass this year with how much of a shit show everything is. Heups probably got two mediocre years left, 1 (next) if there’s a full collapse.
It's hard. I feel like I'm in a careful what you wish for scenario. My big fear after frost left was a big regression on offense. That thankfully didn't happen and you can even see how successful it's been. No matter the turnover we continue to get a lot out of a lot of people including today. Another coaching change and it's just another chance things regress. That said, you have to imrooven on defense. You don't even have to be good. Just be below average . We can't keep getting into games where just having to punt once means we lose our lead. They've gotten lucky with creating turnovers but nothing resembles a sustainable defense.
The other thing I haven’t seen anyone mentioned but like... who are the senior leaders on this team? Otis? I mean... heh. Not exactly one of the griffins.
Honestly all I picture are kickers fucking around and playing Magic The Gathering on the sidelines. Especially in a game where one team is going for it on their own 18 yard line.
no he is not right in that situation. Regardless of what he said, he shouldn’t have said shit until they got into the locker room and away from cameras and eyes. You want to fight and shit talk to your teammates, you do it in the locker room or at practice, not on the sideline where everyone can see. Thats a bad look for everyone

So is the plan at home to play slow tempo? After the long run and Tulane can't get back to the line of scrimmage so we...slow play it. Tulsa tempo
It’s the style of play. Our offense is an integral part of the defense. If we score a lot a fast it makes the opposing offense have to keep up and force the ball downfield which causes turnovers
I think it's just that any competent offense can pick us apart. We do ok up to a certain skill level and then after that we might as well just not put a defense out there.
DG has the most yards in college football and the QBs in spots 2,3,4,5 have all played an additional game. He would be on pace to have 5,000 passing yards in a normal season.
Defense doing that thing again where if we don't score every single drive they will be back in the game
