The base running gaffe is just symbolic of the larger issue that cost us; young guys making young guy mistakes. Not working the count well, wilting in the pressure of the moment, etc. Important to remember this is the first time most of these guys have ever been this deep and the Dodgers have been there every year. We’ll be back if we commit to keeping this group together and they learn from this.
We win this series if Ozuna tags we win this series with Soroka we win this series if Acuna can remember how to play the games
We beat ourselves. The dodgers are a legendarily good baseball team but we invented new ways to lose tonight. Could have had easily 2-3 more runs if we don’t manufacture one of the biggest baserunning blunders in the history of baseball
I don’t really hate any of them. I hate them collectively, but I’d take anyone on their team in a heartbeat. They’re just too good to hate.
Now all you Bama fans know what it feels like to be a Uga fan! This is comfortable for me. I’m used to it.
I’ve been a Braves fan for 32 years. Cried like a baby when Mark Lemke popped out to the end the ‘96 World Series and that’s one of my fonder Braves memories. I def know these feels.
Im sad. Snit just isnt going to get it done. Why do you pull Green to throw Minter? Why do you put Will Smith in a high leverage situation?
I said god I’ve given up on Auburn this season, please give some magic to the Braves. big guy wasn’t taking calls this late
We shouldn’t have to see markakis again thankfully had we given Pache some of ender’s July and August at bats it may be a totally different series too
I heard Freddie faked the leg injury so he could head over to the Dodgers clubhouse to celebrate with his buddies.
Hurts so much. We can't have nice things. I just have no words. We've come so far but it's so hard to get to this point no matter what. The Dodgers aren't going anywhere.
I had almost forgotten what getting punched in the dick by Mike Tyson felt like since that Cardinals game last year. Hello darkness, my old friend
After both huge plays in game 5 and 7, the team just completely folded. We didn’t have a single vet or young guy step up and make a play to swing things back. No 1, 2, 3 inning, no clutch hit, nothing.
Yeah, he is a not just a poor man's, but a homeless hobo's Bobby Cox. Not as good as Bobby was by any means, but a solid regular season manager that still makes stupid mistakes in the clutch, fields ill-prepared teams and just cannot get it done when it counts.
All you had to do was see the look on our dugouts faces those last two innings to tell it was over. We were completely deflated
from a macro sense this is where i am. still a really young core that did more than i expected just getting the winning any series monkey off the organizations back. ultimately, this team was a starter away from being the real difference in this series, so the blame really only lies with the FO for failing that in August. but it always hurts to lose like this in October, post-season baseball has such a high variance that when it’s right there in front of you for the taking, it always feels like you’ve blown the best opportunity that you’re really gonna get going forward.
I think I’m gonna go with the Rays would’ve crushed us so better to get it out of the way now. That’s how I’ll sleep tonight
Can't wait to see liberty media rip this tram apart and acut payroll Gonna be awesome with Pablo Sandoval as our DH next year
Always love the passion you guys have for your team, that level of fandom in baseball gets fewer and far between these days sadly. Have always thought it was cool how an entire region can rally around a team. You'll be right back here next year
