For those that haven't watched the vid yet, just for clarity, my screenshot is actually of the PS Store, it is now integrated into the UI, no longer a separate app. I really like what I saw in the video, the card system is cool, the in-game help and the picture in picture stuff while you play is awesome.
I couldn't care what it looks like, even though it does look sharp. all I care about is that it does what a good UI should, makes it easy for the player to play and stays out of the way.
yep, certainly back in the Windows 8 era where they built everything for touch screen, all those damn tiles.
I really like the PIP stream of a friends game you can see while you're playing. Could be great for multiplayer/coop games.
You think any of the people saying they will no longer support Sony would give up their preorder for me?
https://www.gamesindustry.biz/articles/2020-10-26-destruction-allstars-delayed-from-ps5-launch EDIT: Moved to Feb 2021, but good news, it'll be the free PS+ game. Excited about that
Although, my gamestop preorder had that game as part of the bundle. FML they better not cancel that preorder.
Weird. Seeing the promo picture it looks small and the Xbox Series X looks stupidly large. The opposite is true.
I remember this type of reaction with the rumble triggers on the Xbox one I feel like. Controller gimmicks don’t improve gaming imo.
Silly me thinking I was going to be able to keep the two big current Gen consoles and two next gen consoles on my entertainment center
my favorite use of haptic trigger feedback is forza when you get understeer/oversteer and if you lock up the brakes. Such a nice touch
No doubt. I doubt it would ever be broken that badly, but yeah, for sure. I would imagine the remote work is making the Day 0 patch stuff harder than anticipated, thus the delay.
That thing is huge, can it lay on the side like PS4? It might barley fit in the current spot of my PS4.
I’m honestly just shocked at the total size difference between the series x and ps5. It obviously doesn’t matter at all from a which to buy stand point, it’s just almost jarring to see the size difference right next to each other.
I get my extra dual sense and charging cradle from PlayStation Direct tomorrow. Wonder if it will work on PC yet. Looking forward to seeing how it feels in hand.
Traded in my iPhone 11 Pro at GameStop. Got $495 store credit. Payed of: AC: Valhalla Spider-man: MM COD extra controller - They didn’t have anymore pre-orders available for the 3D pulse headset. Still had more than $220 store credit available to use. - Too bad I probably won’t be able to find PS5 until after Christmas
