Best fries in Nashville reside at Joyland and a few miles down the street at Grill Shack.. IMO Thanks for starting page 206 on a positive note
Nashville Knight took one minute of reading and critical thinking to know that was a garbage article. Phew boy
The replies to his and Tritt's tweets just reinforce that those morons will never change their minds.
I am 100% fine with the increased property tax. Should've been increased many years back but the can was kicked down the road. Also, MAYBE don't vote for a mayoral candidate running to fix the budget if you don't actually want him to fix the budget. He won 70/30. People are dumb. I'd take a guess that more than 50% of the people complaining didn't vote.
I wanna hear how they think the budget should be fixed. I'd guess the vast majority would respond with some version of "cut entitlements!"
Like many things with the government, it's just a LOT more complicated than people know. Cutting entitlements actually wouldn't even fix the problem. Raising the hotel tax would also not fix the problem. It's a unique, shitty, and difficult situation that most people believe is normal and easy.
Got the mailer yesterday showing the early voting locations and times and all the races. Double checked to make sure registration had the correct information today. I wish they would have done universal vote by mail but at least TN expanded it.
They re-did the Smokehouse place in Germantown by 5th and Taylor. It’s now called Sonny’s and oh man the smoker smells good. Looks like a solid spot
The patio area is really nice. The depot was always an underrated spot, it just had awful ownership. They used to have some of the best wings in town so hopefully those are back.
We are so excited to try this place https://nashville.eater.com/2020/10...g-date-grand-hyatt-restaurant-nashville-yards
Ernest Scared Stupid was filmed in East Nashville.I’m going to request to sit in the jail cell next time I’m at Margot.
Riddim N Spice is the best cheap eats in town now that Big Als has pivoted to catering Order the lamb protein bowl Rum cake Any of the punch drinks (add rum) Go back the next day for the chicken. You're welcome.
He's trying to stay open for lunch Tues-Fri and breakfast on Saturday only for the rest of the year. He's been closed for lunch the past two weeks for catering though.
We went to dinner at The Treehouse in 5 Points Friday night, and the food was meh. Our first bad experience since COVID began.
We’re like two weeks in with minimal bitching and 80% food talk and our future president* is in town tonight *honestly not sure where Kamala is
20 min after this location opened. And its doubled behind me in the 15 minutes since then. We need more locations for sure.
I’m surprised. I’ve never had a bad experience there but it’s been awhile. I need to go get crunk on the back patio bar though.
This one is the closest to us. It's moving pretty quickly so far but no idea how long it is once you get inside. Everyone is masked up which is nice though.
We last ate there in March 2019 or 2018 and it was great. The food quality and presentation for a $200 meal was not there this time. I wonder if they had chef turnover because of COVID. If im paying 5th and Taylor or Kayne Prime prices, I expect the same quality. They wanted $5 an ounce for a dry-aged ribeye steak (36 oz). No thanks for a non-steakhouse restaurant as that is something I would pay for at Kayne Prime, Bourbon Steak, or Jeff Ruby's.
Same, we both went yesterday at 2:30 and it took less than 15 minutes. We had about 10 people in front of us in line when we first got there.
For anyone who works in Cool Springs you can vote at the Mariott Conference Center. I was in & out on my lunch break in about 25 minutes.
