This is probably blasphemous in here but my wife’s favorite pizza is cheese, so as our first real attempt at a pizza we’re just going with fresh mozzarella cheese pizza
It’s really easy. Few slices of a good bread. I use Sourdough Then cut up a few tomatoes, half a red onion, a green pepper, a peeled cucumber w the seeds removed. 2-3 cloves of garlic. A few heavy pinched of salt. Let that sit in a blender or food processor for 30 min to draw out the liquid in the produce and the bread soak it up. Then about a quarter cup of sherry vinegar and a cup or so of Olive oil. A little cumin and coriander to taste. You need really good tomatoes tho. Grocery store tomatoes will make it taste like shit.
It is still early in the day and he will talk himself out of it. By noon it will be hot ham & cheese. By tonight it will be pb&j. See yesterday’s bbq thread shenanigans as exhibit a.
The people who live in that house sit in their garage and watch people because pizzas were constantly getting thrown on the roof.
I don’t think that’s the actual story Edit: didnt mean for this to come off rude. I think the lady like hates people taking pictures so she set up a fence and just smokes in the garage and yells at people all day. I think steamengine was the one to document this
He'll be taking delivery of two piping-hot Papadias (one for him and one for his wife who will leave him over the pizza fiasco so he'll end up eating both).
At my dad’s small “ranch” in the Texas hill country. Culled a small buck out of the herd of 30 that free ranges it and his neighbors’ properties. Ranch is about 30 acres. It is a valley with 2 hillsides to the top and a 3.5 acre spring fed pond in the middle.
A quick google image search will show gumbo ranges from soupy to almost gravy like and all are delicious.
I'm sure it is tasty, and I'm not really talking about consistency of the soup so much as ratio, but I'll leave it alone.
You make the dough from scratch? Question for the expert, is it really better to make it yourself versus buying one already made at the grocery store? Like is it worth the effort?
