A good state prosecutor would wield a broad pardon as a weapon and either get admissions of guilt with respect to certain crimes or narrow the pardon’s scope.
I’ve seen many otherwise intelligent people I’ve known all my life who are self-identified conservatives fall for this shit. When my response to them is, “You keep beating the drum about the liberal media being bad because none of ‘them’ will ask Biden about this, and conclude this means they’re complicit in somehow hiding ‘the truth.’ However did you ever stop to ask yourself why unabashedly right-wing media and right-wing media only are the ones running with the story based on indisputably sketchy sources? If your concern is bias, why didn’t you spend any time questioning the story to begin with?” They never have a good answer.
Russian hackers hit Burisma. They probably got access to Hunter’s shit that way. They put it on a hard drive and gave it to Rudy when he was doing his shit in Ukraine in 2019. They told him to come up with his own story as to how he got the hard drive before leaking the contents to friendly press. They then pretend the normal things you might find in someone’s email to be scandalous.
Rudy won’t let the actual press have the hard drive. Because it is all nonsense. They won’t even say what is supposedly so bad about it.
I think the better play is to just ignore the insane pretend pardon and bring a case against him that you already have a ton of evidence for. He’s Individual-1. Mueller outlined multiple cases of obstruction of justice. Bring those cases to court. Make him argue his absurd stance that he’s above the law. Also make sure you have your 13 justices in place before the argument reaches the supremes and neo-monarchists like Kavanaugh and Barrett get to write the majority opinion.
It is me, the guy who is going to pay top dollar to have a pumpkin shipped from Maine that Trump signed. I will keep it in my freezer so it doesn’t go bad until my wife throws it out because, “It was blocking the ice machine. I couldn’t get any goddamn ice because of the fucking Trump pumpkin.”
It's like a way to identify racist moderates. Because it can't be that they love Trump's message or second term goals for a fucking moonbase. No they have to on some level hate the messengers on the other side.
I think there is a mixture of fake and real emails put together in order to try to make the fake one's sound more real.
This the guy who runs the Georgia Votes website. Georgia has something like 7.5 million RVs and 7 million "active" voters, the latter number is usually what is used for comparisons.
The scheme behind the attempted plant of the story at the WSJ that the president was looking for that the WSJ said fuck off to. cliffs: 3 White House people pitch the story to the WSJ with more detail and the bobolski guy going on the record. They feel like it going into the WSJ first would give it credibility (and they might have been right). Unbeknownst to them, rudy and bannon make their own play and go to the NY post and get it published behind this groups back. This group is still working on the WSJ story. Trump then says Monday of the debate “expect a big article in the WSJ” which really pissed off the journal newsroom who was afraid of looking like they’re doing trumps bidding. They also struggle to verify things. Bobaluski gets jittery Wednesday and puts out his own long statement. With this and the NY post stuff, the WSJ put out that little article Thursday that basically did more harm than good for the story saying they couldn’t prove it. so if rudy and bannon don’t go to the NY Post, this may have started in the WSJ, had the biz partner on record from the start and been treated VERY differently. We should all thank rudy and bannon for this failing so hard.
I’m going to guess that meadows, who was on the morning show circuit this morning, didn’t want to be asked about it and that is why he tried to keep it all under wraps until at least today after the morning shows. They keep getting burned with bad news on Saturday nights that details their attempts at a decent Sunday morning interview
they should adjust their strategy and try to not be total and complete fuckups at literally everything they try to accomplish and then I bet chuck todd will fluff them for hours on a sunday
That's a conservative estimate. With around 1 million new registered voters this election cycle, mostly from younger age groups, there's a good chance of closer to if not over 7 million voters
The Trump part was the same 5 talking points as always but he got agitated when Leslie Stahl essentially stood up to him and forcefully and repeatedly refuted him when he went to the conspiracies. Looked to me like he realized he wasn’t going to get what he wanted out of it and just walked off.
Number 1 issue among young voters is climate — hard to see Biden’s statements in climate and fossil fuel as a negative so long as gen z is turning out. Let alone the policies polling well more broadly, as well.
So it really wasn't thst bad (CBS made it look better than it was) but our adult child of a president shit his pants and made it worse
mitch McConnell ought to remember that the moment you think you have everything figured out is usually when the rug is pulled out from under you
