Kansas had Pooka Williams and Khalil Herbert in the same backfield. That's a title-winning caliber backfield for a lot of schools.
And a 4* RB (Dom Williams) running 3rd string. Now all three are gone. Herbert got misused and didn't want to be #2 behind Pooka. This year, our OL Is probably the worst run blocking I've ever seen and I've seen a lot of bad football. Pooka to protect his health and draft stock made the probably wise decision to call it quits. His final play was a 95 yard KO return for a TD which is impressive.
Tough story. Has to make you wonder if some of his personal issues and erratic behavior has a connection to this
Not in the portal yet. Word is he’s just opting out to work on strength and is expected back. But who knows.
He didn't play in the Mizzou game because of a "bad week of practice" CEO said. Which I think is utter bullshit.
Apparently, he only played 13 snaps against SC. When he's played, he's played well. We're getting 0 production from interior linemen and the guy who played a ton as a Freshman can't get on the field? It's gotta be something else.
No doubt he was an integral part of our scout punt return team. It's a tough loss and couldn't have come at a worse time.
#Alabama Crimson Tide would you be interested in a trade for one lightly used james blackman? The last one we gave you seemed to work out, so he could be the future
Harris had some bad timing. We are loading up on OLB's. Think he'll be a good one for whoever gets him
For sure. Guys like him and Mwikuta can find themselves on NFL rosters down the road. Sanders and Anderson with guys like Robinson and Braswell behind them bulking make the roster pretty unappealing for a couple years.
