IHME/UW hospital utilization projections https://covid19.healthdata.org/unit...resource-use&tab=trend&resource=all_resources
A friend of mine from North ATL has Covid symptoms after being exposed to a co-worker who was positive. He was turned away from a drive thru Covid testing facility because he had symptoms .
I haven't been dialed into IHME of late. I'm looking at the Minnesota curves, and I have no fucking clue why they think case rates are suddenly going to start dropping once December comes around. IHME seems like complete garbage. What am I missing here?
sitting here administering the PSAT- a test you take to practice for an increasingly meaningless test- and was instructed to close the windows and hallway door to ensure a “secure” testing environment. so we’ll be in this room for 4 hours with only the shitty AC for ventilation now
We need to be naming and shaming the people throwing these events. We seem perfectly fine printing the name and shaming the venues but that’s not enough. The people themselves that are throwing these parties and weddings should be publicly named and deal with the consequences of their actions personally and financially, whatever that might be. Until that happens, these events won’t stop.
didnt we do that twice last week? Or are you talking about the 7 day moving average now being over 80k? just saw your response. I think it might be the 7 day average. It’s been creeping up that way.
All of this pales in comparison to the 2 Americans that died of Ebola during the failed Obama administration.
My office mate just found out he got exposed for five minutes last night, I’m the only person in the office wearing a mask he’s already been sent home and getting tested Monday
New daily highs set in IL, NC, OH, MI, IN, MN, ND, and ME. Several second- or third-highest days as well.
Iowa also set a record if you exclude Covid Kim's data dump from 8/28. Good chance tomorrow tops that number.
I’m seeing that yesterday was 19 more than today, but I’m not digging deeper than what worldometers has up, perhaps the final count is elsewhere?
Over 12,400 cases in IL over the past 2 days. Our county took 4.5 months to get to 3,500 cases and we’ve added 3,300 cases the past 6 weeks. Going great here!
Local news reports all have it at 1814 yesterday and 2469 today. I gave up on the aggregator sites because they were all over the place.
said this in another thread but Ron Desantis is getting 55% approval for corona handling by end of week he will have overseen 800,000 cases and nearly 17,000 deaths that is a failure of the mainstream media to not connect those two dots to the public
