I am an AEW fanboy but even I will say outside of Omega AEW seems to be going through the motions the last two or three weeks. I think they are just treading water until Full Gear and then it seems there will be multiple new avenues they will go.
Im not really concerned with ratings. It’s actually the first time I’ve checked them in months. Only did so to answer the question. NXT was hit and miss till they put on that fire TakeOver a few weeks ago. And they have put on some really good shows since. Havoc was great but probably a one off for ratings win.
I don’t know, I watched both shows and came away impressed with NXT while not bored with Dynamite it felt like I was watching an Episode in a tv series that was just filler to get to something bigger down the road.
Aew just hasn't grabbed me lately. In general I'd say they put on a better show than wwe does at least for raw and sd most nights. I think it's an expectations thing. It was played up like they'd be more real, records matter, no dumb wwe shit type of promotion. To be honest, aew seems to have as much if not more dumb shit lately. It also didn't help that I've been over Jericho for a while, just couldn't take him seriously as a top guy. I'm also not into the orange Cassidy stuff so his extended push is doing nothing for me. Mox is also fine but nothing special to me. I think I'd like more of some of the other guys on the roster in prime story lines or something
I saw people on Reddit saying it’ll be a fluff piece which is probably likely but keep in mind that WWE did run a little background story on Vince in the past and Stephanie straight up said that Vince was intrigued about doing incest storylines with her. If they’re willing to put that out for the public then who knows what they’ll allow.
You think Vince and family would be embarrassed by that? Nah, she said that because they are proud that they “could push the envelope” that far.
Given the long history of Vince I’m not sure a mini doc series is long enough to cover most topics in depth. Unless we are talking MJ doc that ESPN did earlier in the year. That might be enough time. I think Vince is open enough to touch most topics but he’s gonna slant it in his view. Really looking forward to the doc and the topics they get into.

Watched WALTER vs. Ilya Drugnov on NXT UK. Those guys just beat the shit out of each other for real. No one got thrown into a tub of mimosa or had their arcade game broken though.
Just finished NXT Gargano is just fantastic. Road Dog needs to lay off main roster booking you can just feel when he has his hands on something.
