Though since the cpu was making all changes, for all we know they adjusted your lineup, really have no clue
Doing a Sunderland career mode. I've dispatched my finest scout to Scotland to bring me the Highlander youth that are gonna help me take these northern monkeys back to the Prem.
So you can’t play with other players across generations. Even on same company. iE Xbox One can’t play with series X or PS4 can’t play with PS5
That’s expected though wasn’t it? That’s how it was with PS3/PS4 and 360/XB1. Do other games allow it?
I mean. The tech jump between last gen and this gen should allow for it. Really the only thing that keeps crossplay from happening is the company themselves. Other games can go cross different consoles/pc. So it’s possible, they just don’t care to do it.
As for was it expected. Not really but that’s because I don’t trust EA to do anything that benefits it’s consumers.
EA sucks but I don’t really see what they have to gain here. They made it so people upgrading get the game free on the new system.
It’s not as much of a complaint as it was a statement for those who didn’t know. There was an assumption that because of the free upgrade that there may have been cross-gen play. So if we start clubs on an Xbox 1, and some people upgrade they leave their fellow players/club behind
feel like the developers watched a few too many kepa games and just assume that any shot on goal is going in the net
Anyone who’s done career mode is there a workaround to not doing the training? I’ve heard mixed things. Some people are saying you have to do it. I don’t even play all the games so doing the training is a nuisance. I wonder if they are going to add in updates that allow those rate of features to run more in the background. people are saying if you just straight sim it, your scores won’t be good so your players won’t grow nearly as much
Just do the individual training games til you get an A or B in all of them. Once you get an A or B you can sim for the rest of the season and you're players will always receive an A or B depending on the skill game they're training on. Also, I noticed that youth players won't show "has potential to be special" or "an exciting prospect" until they are 60 overall. I thought everyone I was promoting were duds.
another thing for training: once the season gets going, phase out the starting 11 and just train the bench players and the reserves that will get some game time starting 11 will get all their sharpness from playing, and your bench will be good to go when you start rotating your players
and with the new development plan thing, players grow fast as shit if they get game time and play well im only in february and guys like fati, pedri, trincao, and de jong have already gone up by at least 5 in their overall
I've found some excellent Welsh and Scottish youth players. I've got a ginger Scottish center forward who has 94 potential, and now Sunderland is playing the False 9 around him. Idk if sending scouts to their home country gets better results, but my Croatian scout has found 3 Croatian wingers with 90 potential.
also in my save: peter lim splashing 120 million on transfers and hazard scoring 14 goals in 20 games so its a real cracker but what are we gonna do, play pes?
Just a heads up to everyone. In settings it is default to have “Competitor Mode” turned on. Only applies if playing on Legendary or Ultimate difficulty but CPU then mimics some of the top pro FIFA players. Lots of skill moves and crazy shit and for someone like me, miserable.
Playing a lot more FUT this year than in the past, as I typically just get my ass handed to me online. Had some great pack luck with PL players. Packed Theo Hernandez and Van Dijk. As I don't typically play often I decided to go ahead and flip those cards this weekend for a little more than 700k coins. Probably a dumb thing but Idc. Only played a few games with my new team but it sure is a lot more fun to be able to have pace, and the ability to score from anywhere.
Thoughts for those that play FUT more than I do? Things I should change, next upgrade? My thought was to replace James and Ollie eventually.
Just started an Atlanta United run in the Spanish second division, I'm one friendly deep and one of my best players put in a transfer request after starting and scoring two goals in said friendly, it's also his first year at the club
denied by who? this was a guy already on the downloaded roster fwiw, no biggie though already went with my tried and true Thiago Almada purchase to replace him, just kind of annoying
ahhh, yeah I didn't have that option as his transfer request came the same day as Leeds paying for his release, that was another annoying thing basically half of my roster including all of my top guys had release clauses, had to quickly go and renegotiate contracts after this also thought it was funny that a couple days later he bitched about me not coming to renegotiate his contract when I couldn't because of his transfer request
The first thing I do with anew club is look to renegotiate anyone with a release clause. I hate them.
Yes. Everyone online plays the same. 4 front men told to stay forward. DMs and back line told to stay back and sit deep. Defend defend defend then bypass midfield with RB+A ball to an attacker. So many RB+A balls this year.
I feel like my enjoyment of this game is maintained by not doing the online matches obviously makes fut more challenging but I get by
The occasional squad battles match where the cpu decides that you aren’t winning is typically more infuriating than anything online
When you're choosing your team when setting up a career you can select to swap it for another one in any other league, I may be off a touch on the actual procedure but you scroll up to choose the country of the league you want to join then the league itself, then select whichever team you want to move out. It'll then have you selected as that team in the league you left so you have to again scroll to the country and league you want to join, then you'll see the team you just added as an option to choose. Played with Atlanta in the English leagues last year, you could even create the Euro Super League if your heart desired
I don’t understand wanting to change up the leagues It has no impact on my life whatsoever but it bothers me reading about you doing this
because it's fun seeing the only club I'm genuinely passionate about going up against the big boys in Europe and playing in MLS beyond one season is boring, I doubt anyone will miss having Sabadell around in the Spanish second division
Thanks to Shiggityshwo telling me about this in the last version, I moved some MLS and Liga MX teams to South America so they could play in the Libertadores.
