I’ve gone down the rabbit hole of watching these daily dozen trivia matches on the YouTube channel, this Brandon/PFT team is hilarious
isnt team frank pretty good at this? I’ve only watched the vids and haven’t paid attention to the records
Watching this rediscovering America video KB, Donnie, and Nick did. Definitely bizarre humans but hilarious so far.
The part where the guy asks them if they are BLM and antifa and later pulls a knife is terrifying but their response was great
Rone’s Philly Cheesesteak video that dropped this week is great. Was always a fan, but Rone won my allegiance when he and Big Cat were doing the Yak from his apartment during quarantine. He’s so funny and seems like such a good dude
Thought it peaked. And looks like I was somewhat right seeing as how it's now at $55. I was hoping it would keep dropping and I'd buy back in
Even though Dave goes rogue at times and annoys me....videos like these where he’s just 100% blindly confident in something stupid, but wrong at the same time will always make me laugh.
Someone that listens to Dave’s podcast or would know more, is there a specific reason that so many people aren’t having their contracts renewed? 3 in one week seems like a lot when I don’t remember this happening before (4 if you assume blackjack is gone) Is this a result of so many new hires two years ago and this is the first wave of those contracts coming up or are they trying to save money? Or are they trying to send a message for people to blog more and put in more work?
No clue but content for contents sake doesn't seem like a great strategy of those are costing you more than theyre bringing in Lo Duca couldn't have been cheap
Would imagine it was them evaluating everyone who’s contract was up and whether or not they were worth bringing back for another contract and so far their decisions are 100% right on the people who weren’t worth bringing back
I wasn’t a chef fan but I have to admit I was Surprised considering how many sponsored videos he has. But, they’ll probably just give those to chef Donny who is a way better cook and more likeable
The other day I was thinking about how he really went away, you never hear from him anymore. I assume that’s because I’m not a gamer tho
I think it was on the rundown this week, he said it was a case where their contracts expired it was time to give some new people a chance. Im sure that plus trying to save some money/maybe reward people who’ve done well the last couple years factored too.
think it's the result of them being part of a publicly traded company and now they have more people to answer to than just chernin. seems like all of the moves were pretty obvious too. they're not like laying off someone important to save money.
It's become my favorite thing. Jeff does a good job hosting and putting up with Brandon's constant bitching. The show has changed my view on Brandon from completely hating him to tolerating him because it's funny to watch how upset he gets
The most recent episode where he said Minnesota was in a NY6 bowl, but wasn’t, and he started to lose his shit...that was the quickest and most annoyed I saw Jeff get and shut him up quick. Cracked me up. (For a split second I thought Brandon was right too). That same episode before it started, Brandon’s kid saying “dad just one favor can you guys please keep calm” killed me because he loses his mind every wrong answer.
my favorite part of the pick em podcast last week was when he was convinced goebbels was pronounced goooo-bulls
Some definite classic episodes include Brandon trying to hold back from flipping out when Frank the Tank was obviously cheating, and the episode where the Biz and RA were hilariously stoned and still smoked (pun unintended) PFT/Brandon.
Speaking of useless employees...I feel like I haven’t seen Nate in anything in awhile none of the streams, nothing shared on twitter or anything, granted I only casually watch them
Seems like all of the content these days is gambling or nick and Kyle. But I Saw that he just signed a new 2 year contract he’s actually a pretty good blogger
Im sure the bloggers have the free reign to work from home. On one of the first episodes of Dave and Eddie, Dave was talking about how Nate wanted the 5-6pm Sirius spot but was dead serious. Then he talked about how he’s a good blogger but maybe not a content guy. Eddie brought it up last episode joking about him asking for that time slot. Dave confirmed he has not considered it.
I definitely agree that he’s a better blogger than content guy but they definitely over the years pushed the spider monkey persona and Nate/Smitty feud Maybe now they realized he’s better off not being in content but over the years he’s definitely been in a lot
Watching chef cry at the end of his final episode was actually pretty sad. I do feel bad for him, especially in these times
I think Dave mentioned something about how Nate doesnt like to be the joke (duh) and that is another reason he's not on the content side. He wants to be Nate not the spider monkey persona.
Smitty was smart to move them into this market, but I can’t stand him. I got on twitch to watch some of their stuff early in quarantine and now I follow so many other streamers and never check for his streams.
Didn’t watch RnR I’m just talking about around the office, in the trivia, cornhole, jenga streams although I certainly haven’t seen them all
