Phone died. Just left the cigar bar. My thoughts Inoue is the real fucking deal. I’m a fanboy. Sad he didn’t get the entire night to himself. LSC/Tank: I could watch that every week and be happy. Couldn’t ask for a better fight. I love me some LSC but you can not fight the way you fight against Tank. You’re flirting with fire and he got Burnt
Broner was sent to jail for not paying a court ordered settlement after the judge saw an Instagram post of him flashing money after saying he was broke.
Yes and no. Yes because you lose the draw of Canelo for subscribers. No because you’re off the hook for the $280M still left on Canelo’s contract. They’re just more dependent on the Golden Boy stable turning out stars, which varies on what you think of Ryan Garcia, Vergil Ortiz, JoJo Diaz, etc
ESPN, 10:00 pm ET, Terence Crawford vs Kell Brook, Joshua Franco vs Andrew Moloney 2. Crawford-Brook has at least a little intrigue going in, if you want to be optimistic, and why not? We just came off of watching a night where the headline fights were Haney-Gamboa and Ortiz-Flores, Crawford-Brook is looking pretty good by comparison. Brook is a former titleholder and after he made 147 with little trouble, it could really be a pretty good fight, even with Crawford still a strong favorite. Franco-Moloney 2 is a rematch of a very good fight from June, where Franco lifted the secondary WBA 115-pound belt from Moloney. The unbeaten Crawford has been in need of a big fight, and while this isn’t exactly what anyone has been dying to see — they want him against the top PBC names — Brook can’t be overlooked, either. The veteran former titlist is returning to welterweight and brings some danger, some good skill and some real power, but he will for sure be the underdog here. But he’s not a guy Crawford can afford to just look past as if it’s a gimme, either.
