I have never seen Trent Williams going back To Oklahoma get so abused? This is embarrassing he’s being abused by multiple Eagles with speed by sweat and cox pushing him back into the pocket
Negatives: teams trash at the moment Lots of injuries Positives: nice to see what Aiyuk can do NFC West might not be so great
It was always wishful thinking to think this team was going to do much this year with the injuries. Still can’t fathom how Aiyuk and Deebo weren’t more involved in the offense.
Shanny offensive gameplan was awful and mcglinchy and Williams should be ashamed of the abuse they bestowed upon our scrub QBs they were absolutely abused all game
Our lack of special teams as well we haven’t had a mediocre PR since Ginn and we can’t ever affect the game positively on ST
damn good point but he played well so can’t be too mad, he didn’t throw a pick 6 right to an eagle defender, hold onto the ball for 10 seconds fumble, or miss Juice who was open by 34585833 yards on the opening drive the closest person to him was the usher in the second deck, or Trent Williams getting absolutely shit on every play or mcglinchy getting abused the entire second half
Oh I agree, terrible all around except for Aiyuk Deebo and Kittle. It was nice to see the last two back.
Yeah I'm real happy for josh sweat and all....but bruh is out there moving with robotic knees and the all pro LT cant even sniff him
Seriously. The fair catch, to start the last possession, with one gunner who wasn't close and was blocked? What was that about.
That play gave me Kaep in the Superbowl flashbacks. Just run the ball in. There's nobody there. Nope gonna force this low percentage throw instead.
Can't believe we kept putting that practice squad corner out there alone on an island for like the entire first half. Saleh too set in his scheme, get the guy some fucking safety help. Third and goal from the 22: "this is your first game, you've been smoked every time they've thrown at you, but we're going to leave you all alone on their best receiver...good luck!" There's too many things to list to be frustrated about after that game, but that takes the cake for me. With the schedule we have left we're going to be picking in the top 10 again.
I remember complaining on here during the draft how we needed to draft corners and we didn’t reap what you sow......we need to draft heavy on the interior line and DBs
I mean, I don’t entirely disagree; however, any unit is going to struggle when getting decimated with injuries. I don’t think it was some huge gaffe to skip on a DB for a year considering the guys we had coming back.
Who did we have coming back opposite Sherman? Witherspoon and Mosley ? That’s not saying much with 5 of these guys being free agents this year too
I thought Moseley played well last year Tine will tell on the draft picks but this season was always going to be a wash with the injuries. The bigger issue is what the fuck to do at the QB position.
Nice win. Good to see the defense look much better when we have real cornerbacks. Verrett has been good pickup. This offense moves so much better when Mostert is in. Unfortunately he left at half with an ankle injury. I’d like to see what they can do when everyone is healthy, I keep seeing flashes. That being said I have no idea if the Rams are actually good or not, but it’s a division opponent thats 4-1 so I’ll look on the bright side. Next 5 weeks will be interesting.
Mostert has tons of ability but he’s becoming a bit short on the availability portion, that worries me
That Philly game hurts right now. If we were 5-2 I think we would have a good chance of maybe making the playoffs as a wild card.
the Philly and Zona games hurt ! Fourth and inch against zona from 1cm line we win and thats blocked punt? C’mon
If you want to compete year over year in the NFL you need a QB. Unfortunately, Jimmy G isn’t that guy. He proved last year that if he’s surrounded by elite circumstances he can take you the distance. The likelihood that we are going to have the number defense and running game every year to coddle Jimmy G isn’t likely. When asked to do more he’s proved this year that he is severely limited. I don’t think we need to blow it up but we need to upgrade big time at QB. Not sure there is that option out there though.
The interior line is pathetic too we can’t rely on our starting or backup center to ever strap up and play
Didn’t see the game, but saw Nick had good numbers in garbage time. I’m assuming that’s because it was late in the game and due garbage time. Just curious what fans thought. Should he take over for now? Besides that one game he seems to have played well this season.
meh it was against prevent defense and backups......when we needed him to come thru he wasn’t up to par he’s a decent backup
yeah that’s what I figured. I know he’s probably not the long term solution, but was curious if he should start the rest of the season. Jimmy G certainly isn’t the guy either. Seems Nick has played a littler better minus the one bad start. Which was bad
Nick is a non factor for me I’ve seen enough, it’s Jimmy until the end of the year and then Lynch can make the call depending on what’s out there. For whatever it’s worth Jimmys not healthy clearly and this teams had the season from hell injury wise. Really just ready to throw in the towel, get a top 10 draft pick, and focus on next season.
this is what blow it up means for me I dont personally feel Jimmy is anything but trash, but I get that he's got 1 wheel and the injuries are crazy and I smoke a ton of weed and dont really know shit Need to hit some dingers in this draft though
Welp sounds like Jimmy will be out 6 weeks and Kittle 8 weeks which is probably the rest of the season. Injuries have been fucking brutal this year.
