Given the scenario laid out I would imagine there would be more organizational changes than looking for a new qb.
You haven’t been around here long huh? We’ll let them pick the next QB and then we’ll be looking for a GM and coach the next year...rinse, repeat.
Nothing surprises me with this franchise. Remember when we traded Greg Olsen because Mike Martz didn’t need a TE, fired Martz the next offseason, and spent the next 10 years looking for a good TE?
I guess we can put to rest the “it’s Nagys play calling”. And we can just say that the QB position needs fixed.
Why can’t it be both? They still ran Nagy’s offense today...brought to you by Bill Lazor. CLEAN FUCKING HOUSE!!!
Seems like it did a bit in the first half, but then I fell asleep at halftime. Looks like I missed...*checks notes*...14 yards of offense in the 2nd half.
OL wasn’t awful. Foles had plenty of time most of the game. Our run blocking is tbd because we have dog shit running backs.
It’s because our RBs aren’t good and they aren’t quick/fast. They also run out of bunch sets a ton. That makes zero fucking sense because it packs everyone close to the LOS. And as was pointed out it also makes it difficult for QBs to figure out if the defense is playing zone or man. Basically bunch formations are shit with this roster makeup.
My favorite play is play action so you get people flowing to the ball then throw it to the RB you just faked it to
I think the line played better, we actually pass pro’d pretty well and run blocked pretty well in the 1st qtr. Foles doesn’t know how to hit a hot route so that didn’t help anything when they blitzed.
How I would tier the QBs... Top 5 1) Fields 2) Lawrence Top 15 3) Wilson 4) Lance Late 1st , 2nd round 5) Jones 6) Trask I would keep my eyes on Wilson, Lance, Jones or Trask. Also guys like Newman are wildcards because they sat out but some had him as a late 1st round target.
Would also add Carson Strong as a QB to keep an eye out on. Not sure if he declares but if he does I like him a bunch
