Sometimes when I start a class, either the cadence or resistance won’t change on the screen. I end up having to exit out of the class and re-enter then it works again. is that normal or is my bike already broken?
I’ve had this happen a few times over the time I’ve owned the bike. I chalk it up to software or internet issues. I wouldn’t worry too much about it. Hit ride 1450 a couple days ago with Tunde. Cawgs or Gie! did another Jess Simms 45 minute bike bootcamp. I’d suggest using heavy weights 30+ pound dumbbells if you have them when she calls for heavy weights. It’s a lot of chest and back work .
Like Beo said, it’s a weird glitch that happens sometimes. You may also have loose cables in the back so check those.
Had the bike almost two years. It's happened a handful of times but when I exit and restart class it's fine. Seems to happen if I'm pedaling when I press start. Not sure if that is the cause but that is when it seems to happen.
Old 60 minute groove ride with Cody today nearly killed me. No PR but 21.5 miles and over 1,000 calories burned.

BTW, anyone know how accurate the calorie tracker is on the bike? I have a HR monitor attached as well.
If the HR monitor is around your chest and your weight is calibrated correctly it should be fairly accurate considering circumstances. My whoop way over estimates calories.
Just bought the Bike+ which will be our second bike. I start my new job which is an hour and a half commute but likely will stay with family some nights to avoid the long commute before deciding if we want to move. Excited to use it.
Did my first HIIT class last night. Was a 20min one with Emma, it was on my homepage so just clicked it since I was crunched for time. Definitely was a good workout, and will probably mix at least 1-2 of those in per week. I’m only a couple weeks in, but hoping in a couple more I can do a longer ride like a 60min one to just zone out and go.
Still hate Wilpers but do a lot of PowerZone rides and did a 45-minute PZ Max ride today that was tough. One of the sets was 16 zone 6 intervals: 50 seconds in Z6, 40 seconds in Z1.
Wife and I started crush your core at night. Apparently my core is weak af despite lifting 5 days a week.
I was actually looking at some of those programs last night and might have to start the core one or something. I’m sure it’s a combo of the convenience of having it in my house, the fact I want to get my money’s worth, and just the pure boredom of being home all the time...but at least early on, this is definitely the most motivated I’ve been to workout daily.
Emma looks great always but she's gone above and beyond as of late. Girl is fiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiine.
I’m a few months in and I still feel the same. I don’t normally lack motivation to work out, but now I actively look forward to it. I’m having to force myself to pickup the weights instead and I’m often times failing. I went down to the basement the last two nights with the intention of lifting and taking a quick recovery spin and instead came back upstairs with two new PRs having not even looked at the weights.

Definitely agree on the looking forward to it aspect. I think the different classes/instructors is big for me. It helps so I haven’t felt burnt out. For me, my go to instructor has been Alex because his style of instructing is good for how I am and also the music is usually what I like to listen to. But I know I can also maybe do a ride with Kendall on days I want to recover but also make sure I’m still getting a ride in, etc. Also as dumb as this sounds I also like how it tracks your daily streaks, or your PRs. Personally stuff like that keeps me motivated to ride on a day I’m feeling tired, or push hard for the final 5 mins if I know a PR is within reach.
this isn’t dumb at all. the same thing keeps me motivated as well and has to be the motivating factor for a good majority of users. need that carrot to chase
I negotiated with my wife for about a year before we got it. She got it for me 3 years ago for a birthday/ Christmas gift. I rode it everyday for god know how long doing 3-4 rides a day because I had to justify spending so much. 3 years almost 3000 workouts and 1500 rides later I think she agrees it was money well spent. I don’t feel bad taking a day off now. I also don’t chase the PRs that much anymore.

I don’t think there is a “bad” instructor there are a couple I don’t like. Alley and Andy are fine. Andy is down the list of strength classes I’ll take but he isn’t bad. Alley is just fine Jenn and Christine are way worse.
I know it will sound bad but I am not a fan of the guy yoga/meditation instructor. When I meditate I’d rather hear a woman’s voice. My favorite is Aditi her voice is very calming.
Got home looking forward to a recovery ride and 20 min yoga. Wife had filets, mash, and green beans ready for dinner which absolutely requires a nice cab. I'm on glass 3. Peleton futures sinking at the moment.
Just crushed my pr on olivia’s most recent edm ride. Wasn’t planning on it but her rides always get me going.
This sessions shit is going to kill me. Joined one today finished 3rd almost 2nd but guy got his 2nd wind and pulled ahead at the end.
Same thing happened for me today, but was in Alex’s 30min hip hop ride. Definitely need to do a low intensity or recovery ride tomorrow.
