I wasn't trying to catch the top. Never said I was. I just didn't want to see the bottom. I wanted to limit my risk so I cashed some out to where I have no risk now. It went from like 16.6 to 15.8 or something like that so I got out of some of it to make myself even. I hope it keeps going up.
I’m guessing that Dalio knows he can’t ignore it any more and feels he’s missing something. 2017 hits, he calls bubble, it enters a bear market, he largely ignores it. 2020 hits, PTJ is in it, Stan Druckenmiller has a position, its crushing his gold position, it didn’t die, and is now cruising for ATH in price and market cap. He’s smart and wants to know what he doesn’t understand.

This is still bitcoin, 30% dips will happen. We’re extremely over extended from the 21 week ma which was the golden trend line last time. I hear you though institutional buying is different than retail.
There is a huge amount of btc being moved off exchanges compared to the last run. Add the institutional buying, gbtc, PayPal, etc. and it trends toward a supply shock I think. Either way, I buy every 2 weeks when I get paid. Removes any need to time the market or wait for dips.
Thanks, I was looking for some historical context. To be expected given the proximity to ATH, but the depth is greater + the RSI signals are greater. was comfortable DCA at 15 and 16k. Not anymore until we see a double digit correction. Too risky to trim here as well despite the overbought signals.
I don’t pretend to know anything about technicals, and I expect quite a bit of resistance at $20k. But btc has surprised me plenty before. Just knew I’d seen sell walls from Vijay plenty of times before.
