I thought this was an interesting quote coming from Cutcliffe after the game last week: "They've got an outstanding offensive front," Cutcliffe said. "They are really a powerful, good offensive football team all the way around. They're physically gifted, they're that good. They're one of the better offensive lines we've seen and we knew that going in."
Also our game this weekend is one of the biggest differences between Vegas line & CFB rating systems. Systems have us as about a TD favorite, but Vegas has us at -13.5. I have no idea. Wake has been playing pretty well, but we've been steamrolling people at home (especially at noon). We also owe them for last year. Pumped for the game.
think Javonte picked up about 6 broken tackles on those two runs please defense please for the love of god please
I hate this so damn much, we have 341 yards and 24 points with 10 minutes left in the half and I feel sick to my stomach watching
I think I over estimated the quality bateman hire. Also our punt team is still borderline catastrophe with every attempt. Also I'm too old for shit. Also is it basketball season yet?
on the bright side, I don't think there's any drop off at receiver next year with Khafre and Emory outside
sounds absurd to give the d props for giving up 53 points, but they shockingly got the stops needed, and I can't emphasize shockingly enough it occurred to me while we were down 21 that we could be staring down a 5-5 regular season with ND and Miami coming up, whew
5 straight stops after being virtually a sieve in the 2nd and early 3rd. Glad to see some of the younger kids getting a chance to play on that side of the ball, especially along the DL. Saw at least Pinder, Murphy, & Hester out there for some important snaps.
from the postgame scoop: with the bye coming up maybe we'll see a changing of the guard at least in the secondary, of course McMichael coming back would keep Grimes as a reserve
Surprised Evans wasn't more involved, he's the one that's been getting the most burn, it so it seems to me.
people around the program think walker is the best nba prospect on the team. hot damn praying we get this season completed because i think we are going to be really really good
yeah that stroke's gonna make him a ton of money Just occurred to me last night how weird it is that game 1 will literally be our first viewing of the team, the few people who have gotten a look seem really optimistic
guessing we see love/davis/leaky/mando/garro to start the year harris isnt cleared yet but will be soon and i am looking forward to some four guard lineups with him and leaky at the four
Basketball Wednesday* Day of awesome food and drink Thursday Chance for rare marquee win with a large audience having no other football options Friday* Good week good week *fuck off covid
23/25 in the polls with that sweet sweet off week bump, I imagine we'll sneak in the playoff rankings come Tuesday
well didn't expect to debut at #19, that is pretty much where I think we actually sit in the national landscape though
Basketball season definitely snuck up on me. Reacquainting myself with the roster and realized we still have (at least) another year of the Andrew Platek experience.
I’ve been watching some videos of 2021 draft prospects and I must say that Love plays with an edge I haven’t seen from a UNC player since McCants or Wallace. He’s gonna be really fun with watch this year. So talented.
No summer scrimmages with the former players, no Late Night, no secret scrimmage, no preseason...just kind of showed up this year
Given I boycotted the team at some point early in ACC play last year I really don't feel like I know these guys at all. Hope the freshmen are good and Bacot makes the sophomore leap.
anxious to see if we actually start off with the Caleb/RJ backcourt, only a matter of time but I'd get a little movement in my pantaloons if it's busted out game 1
yeah but they're both capable of playing either spot so I imagine their roles will be interchangeable at times
