It's a self aggrandizing memoir where he pats himself on the back for boot strappin' even though he goes out of his way to ignore the social services and family support that gave him the opportunity to 'boot strap' Wont watch the movie, but Im sure it dramatizes his dumb perspective even more
so the issue should also be with the source material as well as the movie. That tweet and what it replied to made me think it was a bad adaptation.
The source material has gotten heaps of criticism. The issue is this movie got made at all. It could be a bad adaptation from the book but that’s pretty irrelevant.
Only read a little bit about the book but I remember references to his stories about "the family that's on food stamps but they all have cell phones" type stuff.
let us pretend I have no idea who this is, why he is putting cheese on salmon and frozen vegetables and why that owns the libs. Can you please explain it to me like I am a 5 year old who doesn’t know those things. TIA
So absurd that no one is even critiquing the egregious error at the start: that cheese is quite clearly shredded, Paul Joseph.
