Admittedly know nothing about vinyl or cost so just spitballing but any classic shit that you like. All time albums type of list.
I have a lot of the older ones already that I want. At least for now. As far as prices, it just depends. American IV from Cash can easily run close to $200 for a mint condition one.
Last time I looked at half price books they had everything in the record section priced at like $2-5 and I got some stuff like Led Zeppelin IV and Physical Graffiti, Pink Floyd Wish You Were Here, and a few similar albums in good shape for a few bucks each. This was probably about 2010. I also got Men Without Hats Safety Dance single just because. I don’t know if they’ve started pricing more at market value since.
November Air is a masterpiece, gave me chills listening to it. Might be my favorite song released this year. What a talent this guy is.
Glad we’ve got a proper live cut of him covering Alan Jackson’s Chasin’ That Neon Rainbow. Song fucking rules.
my buddy told me this song reminded him of how he felt listening to Bro Hymn by Pennywise back when we were 20 and it’s kinda true. Gets my middle aged ass feeling some kind of way. Favorite album of the year.
Listened to Waylon Payne on the WellRed (liberal redneck) podcast and dude has a super interesting story.
Tyler Childers Colter Wall Sturgill Simpson Brent Cobb Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats Chris Stapleton I'm not sure what you'd collectively call these guys, but it's country/folk/bluegrass? and makes for a fucking fantastic playlist.
Assume most folks in here listened to Cross Canadian Ragweed back in the day. This is out today and kicks ass.
heard this one shopping in walmart yesterday. i always loved this song, it is easily Tracy's best imo
