    yeah and the "free bet" thing sounds great but in actuality it's not

    $1000 bet: 50% chance at +$950, 50% chance at $1000 "free bet"
    Then with that free bet you have a 50% chance at -$1000 and a 50% chance at $950 back (-$50)

    So expected value of $212.50 with a risk of $1000
