Scrolling past this on Twitter quickly I originally thought the picture in the tweet was Guenther Steiner, and then I imagined if Guenther was a person of authority in the battle against Covid 19 "It's fucking insane what we are fucking doing here, yah? I mean how hard is it to wear ze fucking mask" I know it doesn't actually look like him but the general profile is similar
Awesome to see North America and South America back. always find it odd they would make that single trip to Canada and then fly back to Europe or Asia. Why not put Canada with USA, Mexico and Brazil.
Hoping to try and make it to either Canada, Texas, or Mexico City next year. Anyone been to any of them? Any thoughts or suggestions?
I went to Canada when I was younger so I can’t really speak on the City experience but I hear it’s great. The race was amazing we sat in the hair pin and walked the track after the race. Not sure if it’s changed since I went but plan on doing a lot of walking race day.
Been to many race tracks, but never a F1 track. I'm hoping to make the trip to Austin next year (depends on the COVID situation)
Awesome...happy it's early. I'll have to catch it on my DVR as soon as I get up on Sunday so that leaves room for the Masters final round + NFL on the 2nd TV.
Reason for schedule is almost certainly because Montreal is always in June and it'd be way too hot to do US/Mexico in June.
Not sure if this is the best thread for this, but I recently bought a gaming racing wheel. Man have I been missing out. Makes driving even the shittiest cars fun.
Time for my usual question.....is this weeks track prone to a procession or are there good chances for over takes?
First time F1 has been a this track since 2011. Its a wide track and a speed track so I would expect some action
Very glad the Miami “parking lot” race isn’t gonna happen. I know F1 will have a second US race sooner than later, but I personally think racing in a parking lot would be the dumbest thing ever. Gimme a Vegas strip street circuit. Hell. Do a Miami street circuit. Just no races in parking lots. If none of those options work. Go back to Indy. Or any of the other actual race course in the US
I just happen to be out in Istanbul. Would love to make this my first race, but don’t know if I can fit it in and persuade my buddies I’m traveling with. Couldn’t find how much normal grandstand tix would be.
Fucking Lance Stroll Now that I have that out of the way...that was a fucking awesome qualifying section. I can't wait until tomorrow since all the shitty cars are mixed up with all the good ones. I can't wait for Max to make Stroll his bitch. I don't know if it'll be on lap 1 or lap 20 but it will happen. Ok...now onto the Masters for the rest of the day.
All hail the king, Lewis. Doesn't matter the track, the track condition, hell even his starting place on the grid. He's always the best driver out there.
As for the rest of the race....that's the Lance Stroll I know, from pole position to almost out of the points. Red Bull should hire Sergio...that's a hell of a driver lineup between him and Max.
Watching the podium ceremony and Toto's a fucking unit up there compared to Lewis, Seb, and Sergio. A full head taller than each of them at least.
It’s like the racing gods gave Stroll the biggest cock tease and fuck you ever and you can inject that shit into my veins every weekend. Really happy for Seb. Charles was flying but you could tell Ferrari told Seb to move over. But he got on the podium from Charles mistake late. Seb hasn’t been very inspired since finding out Ferrari kicked him to the curb. But he’s a legendary driver and seeing him celebrate with Lewis was great.
I just checked the schedule and there's only 3 races left this season until next year which starts in March.
I really want to fast forward to 2022. Next year is going to be another cake walk for Mercedes and Lewis.
Not really sure what he was doing. Such a sharp turn right. Avoiding the car that went off the track to his left? You could see his hands turning the wheel so sharp
Absolutely crazy he was able to walk away from that. Those cars really have next level safety measures.
Anyway...as for the rest of the race...this should be good! Max hopefully breathing down Lewis' neck. Bottas having to battle his way from 6th. All on this track which last year had the 2nd most over takes. Let's goooo!
