Offense was fucking lights out tonight. Defense made some really good plays & you saw the flashes but I’m afraid that Pettine is fucking horrible. plenty of talent on that side of the ball, but if that’s not Mitch it’s probably another Indy type game. He is just the worse. You don’t have an elite pass rusher, an elite interior lineman, and an elite corner and suck as consistent as they do.
So we signed Tavon Austin, have to think he is going to fill the Ervin role mostly which will help. I feel like Ervin as a decoy really opens up the run game for us. Hopefully he is in shape, supposedly he showed up to camp with the 9ers this year in not the best shape. What's so odd is that Ervin and MVS can go entire games not touching the ball but are still so important if they stretch defenses. MVS wasn't even targeted this week but with how open everyone was I have to think he was doing his job.
this Eagles offense is so brutal It reminds me of the last few years under McCarthy except Wentz isn't Aaron Rodgers so it's a much worse result. Everything is so hard, nothing is ever on schedule.
