Since I was curious, some Netflix stats from Google: 73 million subscribers in US 167 million subscribers worldwide Also, the current US population is around 330 million and there are 122.8 million households in the US
Wife and I started queens gambit last night and now she wants to play all the chess... she beat me... fuck this show
Does Netflix still count their viewing statistics by one view = watching the first 2 minutes of the first episode? Such a ridiculous way to count viewers.
The S1 and S2 boxed DVDs were my last purchase as a blockbuster employee on my way out the door. Best decision ever.
In Case Anything Happens I Love You was really good and really sad. Had me feeling all my feels. The second episode of We Are the Champions (the chili episode) wasn’t that good and filled with extremely unattractive people. Like really fucking ugly. Like god damn these motherfuckers look like ass.
I don’t eat chilis so I can’t honestly understand the hotness so I can’t appreciate what they are doing. Not sure if that makes sense.
David and Nadja attempt to rekindle their relationship on a romantic hiking trip to the North of Sweden. The trip quickly turns into a nightmare when a red laser dot appears in their tent, and they are forced to flee into the unforgiving wilderness pursued by an unknown shooter.
Trial 4 is really good and has kept my attention throughout, which I tend to lose track of docs that get drawn out
As a teenager, Assane Diop's life was turned upside down when his father died after being accused of a crime he didn’t commit. 25 years later, Assane will use "Arsène Lupin, Gentleman Burglar" as his inspiration to avenge his father. A Netflix Original Series only on Netflix, January 8.
I would like to go on record as getting my wife hooked on Virgin River. Had to rewatch the first 3 episodes of S1 because my wife joined it. Suck on that, haters!
Mank directed by David Fincher (and written by Fincher's father well over 20 years ago) gets released on Netflix tomorrow. It's about the writer of Citizen Kane and the development of the screenplay. Lots of oscar buzz. Starring Gary Oldman and Amanda Seyfried.
After finishing virgin river I will say that season 2 is much more dude friendly season 1- doctors wife: “omg jack so sorry for gossiping i’m such an annoying ass bitch!” season 2- let’s hide these bodies
I haven't checked it out yet. It sounds interesting, but I'm also kind of hesitant because of the animation for some reason.
I started the first episode. The balloon aliens were grossing me out, but otherwise it was actually kind of interesting how they create the species
I finished it out a few days ago; I wish it'd been a bit broader scoped. They kinda focus on one or two species from each alien planet and I think they should have done a bigger picture of the ecosystem as a whole vs just a few critters. Graphics are pretty good and its an interesting watch though
Being Hispanic my wife has always loved Selena, and always loved JLO's portrayal of her Leading up to yesterday she was so excited about the new series Then before we hit play on it last night she informed me that she has "heard" (saw on Facebook) that the actress is too skinny to look like Selena I couldn't make it 15 minutes into the show with all the complaints Could be a really good series, I will never know CC: stupid shit wife does thread
my wife and daughter are watching it too. They also have a bunch of complaints so it might be the show and not your wife. I walked in while they were watching it and thought they were using a flashback to the movie. The actress they used looks more like Lopez than Selena. I have no interest in the show so that’s my two cents .
