100% DB is more of a need. We've crushed it with LB recruiting the past couple of years. In terms of need Sorey is probably at the very bottom of our remaining targets
Arnold's versatility is definitely something that is big on Saban's radar. From what we've heard we like him at Cornerback more than Safety. We love those guys that you can line up everywhere. Minkah, Eddie Jackson, and what is looking like Malachi Moore and Brian Branch this past year. You can play them outside and nickel and safety. He is our biggest priority right now make no mistake about it.
Sorey has done a pretty damn good job of keeping his recruitment quiet and not giving any hints as to where he is going. Have no idea where that guy is heading
we got a Fong CB for elite DL Shemar Turner to the good guys following fellow Desoto HS alum and Super Bowl MVP Von Miller’s footsteps
#Michigan Wolverines I'm still not sold on him flipping. Think he might be trying to create excitement
could've been oregon sour grapes or w/e, but one of our "insiders" said he had some family people who were very, very, very pro-UM.
Supposedly his mom is very pro-UM because I believe her brother lives in Detroit so it gives her someone near by him being so far from home for school plus she will be able to come to our games a little easier then.
Dude was a solid big run stopper as a junior, but fell off huge during spring thanks to Covid His school moved him to interior OL this year and he couldn’t stick there. Feel bad for the kid, sounds like he didn’t have the resources or drive to train during the pandemic
I don’t get the confusion...you understand that your team isn’t recruiting him any more as well right?
*** 5-star DE Korey Foreman and his father both went on record with 247Sports analyst Greg Biggins on Wednesday about a return trip to LSU this weekend, which would have been a third trip to Baton Rouge in just a few months time. But on Wednesday evening, sources confirmed with the Geaux247 staff that the Foreman camp had chosen to not come to Baton Rouge this weekend in a last-minute shift. This morning, a source confirmed the news of the trip being called off was still the same. We say to "watch what a recruit does and not what he says", and a third trip to Baton Rouge seemed telling. Now, there may well be something to read into him not coming. Biggins had mentioned that once the dust settled closer to a decision to watch out for the West Coast schools, and a source on the LSU end believes that USC is the team suddenly surging. Biggins noted both USC and Arizona State as teams to keep a very close eye on. I don't have a Crystal Ball prediction in here on Foreman, but I think it's something to monitor. For a long time there was an SEC-heavy flavor. Now, it seems there's a real possibility that he might stay out West.
Miami Central five-star linebacker Terrence Lewis backed off a verbal commitment to Tennessee on Monday. Lewis had been committed to the Volunteers since April. After some digging, I have decided to move my 247Sports' Crystal Ball forecast off UT and over to Auburn for Lewis. According to those connected to the recruitment, Lewis spent some time at Auburn this past weekend with his mother. While he wasn't able to meet face-to-face with any of the coaches or players due to the NCAA's temporary recruiting dead period, he was able to get a feel for campus. It's unclear at the moment when Lewis plans to make an announcement about where he's headed, but it sounds like one should come soon as Lewis has indicated in the past that he would like to enroll early at the school of his choice. As for a confidence score, I went with a low "3" for my Auburn prediction. I would go higher, but as one trusted source noted, Lewis has kind of been all over the place throughout much of the recruiting process, which makes it hard to feel strong about any type of projection. Lewis has also had his name linked to both Texas A&M and Miami since opening his recruitment back up. Mississippi State and LSU are two other programs that he claims to have spoken with at some point over the past few months. The industry-generated 247Sports Crystal Ball ranks Lewis as the nation's No. 1 ranked inside linebacker prospect. As a junior, he totaled over 100 tackles and picked off three passes for a Miami Northwestern program that won a state title.
I don't care how many teachers this kid has punched, with what we have at LB you got to give him an offer.
