Every fucking week I tell myself I'm going to log all the beers I bought on Untapped (for like 7 years I kept a spreadsheet of new beers I drank). Sunday morning: fuck, I forgot 75% of them
Forgot to drink it Thursday. It’s a batch of Damon brewed with honey blended with a “imperial sweet stout” aged in bourbon barrels and then conditioned on coffee and cacao nibs straight up bourbon barrel and cacao super intense
From thanksgiving: From today: Murder of Souls was so fucking good. One of the best ipas I've had in a long, long time. Maybe ever.. el Dorado to the face
Just had this as well Between this and the Murder of Souls I'm ready to give VTA a sloppy beej. Top notch shit
Heading to Toppling Goliath tomorrow and I couldn’t be more excited. They’re tapping some unreal beers.
Just took my first sip and it hits the spot. Fantastic job highlighting citrus character/profile of the hop bill without making an overly sweet IPA, which I think Wild Leap struggles with at times.
Did not realize they opened "Brewhalla." That place looks incredible. I went to their old downtown spot when I ended up in Fargo on a business trip four years ago. Junkyard across the border in Moorhead was also great. I'm sure some other spots have opened up with the brewery boom in recent years as well. Not much else to do in Fargo besides drink but not necessarily a bad thing IMO.
I almost wrote it’s probably the only thing worth going to Fargo for when he said he planned to visit.
Wurst Bier Hall there also had some incredible (and exotic) sausages and a killer tap list. I don’t usually repeat restaurants when I’m traveling but given the dearth of options in Fargo I ate there three times in my four nights there. I wouldn’t travel there specifically for that by any means but worth checking out if you are.
Moving tomorrow so let’s drink these celebratory beers in the fridge and be hungover for the move tomorrow.
Fair enough, carry on. Reach out to tjosu if you want inducted into the dirty glass mafia, DGM if you will.
