Something is going on with the PSG and Istanbul game. Istanbul coach who is black was red carded and is also accusing somebody of a racial remark. Not sure if it is an official or somebody on PSG.
Yeah all the reporters are saying this dude said something racist and sent off an assistant coach from Istanbul
yeah psg players apparently confirmed that the ass-ref dropped an N bomb. honestly dont think the rules are designed to allow for the refs themselves being the issue
Well, not anymore. https://www.manchestereveningnews.c...news/man-city-transfer-news-angelino-18901201 This says it is an obligation for Red Bull.
its tough to deny when both teams agree it happened. I think they will put it all on the assistent ref and probably suspend him for life. It doesnt hurt them and its easy to do
Holy shit you can actually hear it in the first few seconds of the video He’s talking spanish or something, sounds like “ve la, ve la n*****”
that distinction isnt as clear in many other countries. In dutch for instance the word used for a black person is "neger" and its a word thats not got the same connotation as it does in english at all. Given that US culture does gradually come across the pond people do become more reluctant in using the word but that same connotation isnt there
Yes but in some cultures negro is akin to hard er that we have here. Being a professional ref, he has to know that.
It’s similar in Spanish and I understand the argument. However there’s no need to refer to him as “the black” no matter what connotations it has in their language. Should know better.
ow i fully agree there. I was just replying to the point of whoever it was that said there was a difference between the N word and "the black guy" or whatever it was
btw, Man U could well be on their way out of the tournament after having 9 points after 4 games, wonder how ofter that has happened
