Is the Arctis 7p a substantial downgrade from the 9x? They’re the ones branded for PS5 and are $50 cheaper. Also a member of the x900h club and adore this TV.
I am not entirely sure...but I think the wireless aspect for the 9x connects directly like a controller does whereas the 7x has to use a port? I could be entirely wrong but they don't have the same description on the SteelSeries website for both of their wireless capabilities.
That makes sense. PS5 doesn’t allow Bluetooth. I have the Platinum headset from last gen and it requires a dongle for wireless. Looks like Arctis 7p comes with something like that as well. Watching reviews, it looks like this thing has double the battery life and makes better use of the tempest 3D audio. I’m considering the upgrade but hate that it doesn’t have USB-C charging like the proprietary Pulse 3D headset. The Platinums have worked great plugged directly into the Xbox controller so it’s a good solution for both for me.
I have the 7P with my PS5, definitely requires the dongle plugged into the system. (Can use USB-C in the front, or it includes another cable that converts C to regular USB so you can plug into the back) I thought the difference with the 9 was that it was actual bluetooth and can work with everything via that connection. also thought the 7X allowed for the chat/volume mixer, that Sony only allows with their own headsets. Looks like the internet says the 7 has better sound cause it's 7.1, but the 9 has a better mic and can connect to everything. I'd say save the money and find a 7X. (think you could use a 7P, but they are both designed for the specific console.)
ANyone playing Call of Duty....are you experiencing really odd movement behavior? My network connection is great, but my movements are all like a quarter second extended (not delayed like lag, but rather when I press right it just keeps going)....to the point where I'm running into walls after turning a corner
Last night I had like jitters with the graphics at some points and then also experienced what you’re talking about. Caused me to jump off a few buildings I didn’t want to. I also suck so could be user error
I used to have the jitters, went hardwire connection and that removed it. This was several months ago.
Tried to buy at Walmart yesterday. 9pm it went on sale. Got blocked out twice. Got through 30 seconds after 9pm. Already sold out. They need to find a way to stop bots from controlling these things. Why not just verify people are who they are and so a lottery?
It's the auto aim...which is super messed up. Long story short is anyone on a controller has auto-aim to some extent. This game's auto-aim pulls you away from your actually decision on the controller. When you are moving left and someone is moving right across your FOV, the game pulls your reticle against. Not like auto-aim. Legit pulls your aiming in the opposite direction of where you are wanting to go. I hate to be this guy but....Treyarch is garabage. Is what it is. I am still playing,
Or you are referring to the massive drop in FPS on certain maps when you aim down sights. It's an entertaining game...just shitty. They want money. I get it. Zombies is the best (as someone who has never played zombies in other games) part of this game.
Here's an idea for anyone who has upgraded to the Series X and has their old Xbox laying around. 14-16 year old's are the most needed gifts for toy drives because people think of younger children when donating. I just learned this myself. Could make a kids Christmas with your old Xbox laying around, just donated mine.
If anyone needs a 14-day trial for Game Pass Ultimate, take it. Comment if you use it. 2JJ62-6WVGM-4QGHK-WM6FG-Y34V* Replace * with last letter in the alphabet. Don't want some weird search system snagging the code before a TMBer.
I’m going to guess it launches in November on the 20th anniversary of the Halo CE launch. Hard to believe they were ever really going to launch the game in the apparent state it was in. I don’t know what their system seller is between now and when this releases.
I agree with this, I’m just curious how the game went from “it’s almost done,” to , “see you next year,” in 3 months. I just can’t believe they were going to release it in that state at all.
Agree with this, though they finally got the master chief collection right, and it’s great now. They’ve just been so incredibly shitty at launches it’s almost unbelievable.
I went to HS with people who were professional Halo players/eSports casters so that launch was a big deal for a lot of people I know. Some of them didn't actually even have Xbox Ones yet and bought them just for MCC. And they took time off work planning to play for basically days straight just like they used to when a new Halo would come out. Then basically no one could play at all. I remember getting a lot of joy out of shitting on some 343 employee on MCC at some point later when the game was working a little better. Was a Halo 2 game on Colossus and they had OS and I out BR'd them. I teabagged the shit out of them and was shooting their body and just... letting out a lot of frustration. And I happened to be playing on my gamertag x343KilledHalo. It was great.
Craig was the barometer. If the Halo casuals were willing to look past this abomination of a creature, Halo Infinite would be in peoples’ hands right now.
They’ve said the demo was mostly to highlight gameplay but you gotta bring the whole stew when you’re showing first ever gameplay for the new Halo game when there hasn’t been a new one in years and it’s supposed to be next gen
Youngest's XBox One just died. He's like yeah, I'll just wait until I get the Series X for Christmas. He doesn't realize how difficult they are to get
Ok bruhs I’m gonna buy an Xbox uno for the first grader as I got him a switch last year and now he’s basically an animal. What games do you folk recommend for him that are equal parts bad ass and appropriate?
Just downloaded call of the sea on game pass it is great if you like puzzlers. Reminds me of Firewatch a little bit which I loved
Been a gamer since N64 with Zelda...and MCC is absolutely the worst release I've ever experienced. It was game breaking-ly broken for 6 months? A year? I played for about 2 weeks and said fuck this game. Battlefield 4 on Xbox One is in second place...but it was at least fixed and playable in about 2-3 weeks.
Cyberpunk is a fucking masterpiece by the way. There are some bugs...but they are easy to look over. Haven't encountered any game-breaking ones. It's beautiful and a testament to CDPR. Runs great on XSX as well.
Half paying attention, commentators are saying someone in that group of three that got subbed off is butthurt about coming off? Who?
Just scored a Series S on Amazon, should hold us over until we can get a Series X sometime next year Kid has a library of bought games but a few require disc, might have to buy them again or just wait Oh well, I'm still relieved since the One took a shit a few days ago and my youngest is keeping himself occupied with Zelda on his brother's switch
Cyberpunk isn’t great on a One X imo. I’ve read the same for PlayStation 4 pro’s as well. Inconsistent frame rate and game is glitchy as fuck. Hoping patches clean it up sooner than later, I’m probably not going to pick it up again for a while because of that
Watching on Twitch it seems like the game should’ve pry been delayed till next year. Supper buggy game as is.
If you all need a good 4-5 hour narrative puzzle game play Call of the Sea. Started and finished it today and it has a pretty interesting story. Puzzles weren’t crazy either.
