in home is the easiest to contact trace by far. BY FAR. and once someone in teh family gets it then 50-80% of them do. So yes, it's going to skew to homes if you lump all that together. data presented this way is just fodder for the chuds
Looking at North Dakota's northern border is crazy because right across the border in Canada covid is pretty much non-existent in that area.
As inappropriate as this is, I don’t understand what’s taking so long. There isn’t a heck of a lot of data. It’s not like they are deep diving into specific people in the study. I agree with the guy who said this should be a few days at the most. Have they learned anything new or done anything that changes anything in the last week?
God fucking dammit, fuck off with this. "You know, the WH is doing something to directly undermine the success of vaccination, but you know, the FDA is taking a day or two too long for me in something they've never done so quickly before" Fuck. Off.
Something seems really off with this map as it progresses in regards to Texas. The northern & eastern state line become clearly announced.
i'm giving you homework. go research all the different buckets/areas that are reviewed when the FDA considers approving a drug, or more specifically, a complex biologic.
they’re separate points. You can hold the opinion that the White House shouldn’t be pressuring them to approve it like this and also feel like they are taking too long. It’s not a one or the other.
It’s my understanding that the data sample they have is fairly limited. In no normal time would they approve something like this. I don’t believe that the amount of data they are working with to approve or deny is vast enough to take this long. They’ve known what this is for months. This should be about reviewing the data of the trials and based off of that, approving or not. I would assume the rest of the science behind was done beforehand. we have no idea if this will have long term side effects. We have no idea if there will be other issues with this. That won’t change if they have another month though would it? I’m happy for you to correct me. This is a fairly small trial though and I am under the impression that they aren’t dealing with a lot of data.
that would be the homework. i don'tneed him to research each bucket. just find and think through all the different aspects necessary for review to provide an approval (really an EUA here)
They have no idea if this is safe. This entire process has been incredibly rushed. We’ve already made the decision to say fuck it when it comes to safety. If you want to argue that the vaccine needs to be truly safe, it will take a hell of a lot longer. Probably another 12-18 months. You can argue that it should be safe before people take it but that’s not happening. They will approve this before they know that. I just personally don’t think much has changed in the last week. I guess with the shortage of vaccines anyway it really won’t have much of an impact. I just doubt that they have made much progress on finding out if it’s safe in the last week. We have to pray it is and know that the benefit of not having 3000 Americans a day die is more than the risk this may pose.
This is the kind of thing that us going to make ordinary people mistrust the vaccine. Mouth breathing mark meadows should not have influence on an approval timeline
Eathan Edwards has been saying for weeks how bad compliance is in LA, and he seems like the west coast Ark
LA County is a huge area with a lot of subsections. Some goofdick areas like the Antelope Valley. Also has the population of a top-10 state but not nearly the area.
We're only 40th/38th in cases/deaths per million residents so comparatively, handling it much better than the majority of states. The raw numbers just look so big, kind of like the what "Gun violence in Chicago" statistics
They're not taking too long and putting them in the same sentence paints a picture of putting the issues, one perceived and one absurdly dangerous, on equal footing.
I don’t get this. But I also weirdly forgot to put my wedding ring back on this morning so are you in my house?!
