Sparky is great. But why do they have two different number fonts between the helmet and jersey numbers?
michigan state has one of the few modern logos that i like a ton more than the old one. another example being florida, i think the one from the 70s or w/e looks v bad
Adult Brown Pelicans are gray-brownbirds with yellow heads and white necks. In breeding plumage, the back and sides of the neck turn a rich, dark reddish-brown. Immatures are gray-brown above (including the head and neck) with pale whitish belly and breast.
It’s simply a money-making scheme for the NBA. Like it or not, this is a new era for the NBA with each season a big reveal of all the new uniforms. Personally I can see the excitement and fan interest, but as we go on, it’s going to dilute any sort of “tradition” with a team. For example, I don’t like how the Orlando Magic, whose colors have traditionally been blue, silver, black, are now just any color they want it to be.
Btw notice before the season the NFL had started to do the same thing with a reveal of new uniforms (Falcons, browns, colts, bucs, etc.) I believe the NFL has like a five-year rule on uniform changes. If that’s the case, I anticipate they will strike that down soon and follow the same lead the NBA is doing.
Leagues here have to look at what happens in European soccer where they release 3 brand new jerseys every year and make buckets of money off of it...
There were a bunch of new unis in the NFL last year, are any scheduled to be updated this off-season?
Just release the pics when the uni is ready. I don’t need a teaser trailer/ hype video for a uniform release months away from now.
