Ugg Olsen checking in. Fantastic slippers. Also in Texas, I do primarily wear them in the fall/winter but they are not too hot.
I have Sorels similar to the link above, but with more tread. Big fan, no sweat. They're old enough that I was considering insoles for a little more cushion, but I look forward to putting them on when I get home.

Guess that's the same that we have. Lifeproof laminate something something... idk, dog hasn't damaged it yet.
Speaking of sweaty feet what do I do about my sweaty feet? Saw a commercial for this stuff. https://mycarpe.com/products/foot?g...JbhJ_Jehh8Gdge2Xg_hOLaWYyemYMJVxoC7GIQAvD_BwE
Yes :/ I've tried natural stuff and I sweat/stink right through it. For my feets when I remember and or feel like it I use Dr Scholls feet powder but it makes a mess so I rarely use that.
I legit just read about people putting regular deodorant/antiperspirant on their feet and it working...it was a tip on how to stay warm in super cold climates. Gotta keep your feet from sweating
Natural what stuff? Go with straight up old school Old Spice deodorant (non antiperspirant) You may sweat a bit the first few days, but push through My feet and Palms used to sweat profusely when I used antiperspirants, got off them and everything is much better in that department Feet, Palms, and honestly armpits all sweat less I remember when using antiperspirant, every now and then would have one armpit just turn loose sweating for hours. Jusy outta nowhere, not doing physical activities, like just sitting in my office and my right pit would just release and sweat through for no reason Looking back, I should've realized something wasn't right about that
Natural deodorants. Mitchum makes one and I think I tried some other brand awhile back that seemed to do absolutely nothing. Maybe I'll look into some non antiperspirants. Idk if my body doesn't feel ready for that leap.
One time I messed up and got non-antiperspirant deodorant and wore it to school and man, it did not work. Different strokes for different folks I guess
I had to switch to nothing and/or only wearing it when I need it. It really immensely helped, I sweat like 1/10 of what I used to. I understand if you cannot do that. I had to rotate between that Mitchum, Arm and Hammer, Toms and a few others. Last one I was on was Dove.
Fits are my favorite as far as how they feel, Darn Tough a very close second. But Darn Toughs lifetime warranty is killer so I usually buy those.
I switched to spray antiperspirant over the summer. It seems to have less of an effect of my clothing than the sticks I was using.
Yeah, regular deodorant fucks up those pits after a while. Also can't put on a black shirt without getting a white streak on it
Can someone point me to the page where there is a Mattress discussion? Switching to a king from a queen- always anxious about buying one online but think it might be time.
I bought a cheap piece of shit from walmart 11 years ago and it's still running despite my house collectively putting thousands of miles on it. Hth
I got a king Saatva latex hybrid and love it. I would recommend for combo, stomach and back sleepers. Probably a little bit too firm for pure side sleepers. Firmness is probably a 7-7.5/10. First time having a latex bed and its great. Regulates temperature well and has a nice bounce to it. Customer service was great too. The bed took longer than they expected so they sent me a set of sheets for free ($215 value). They delivered the bed (it doesn't come in a box) and took the old one away for free. This reminded me, Vandy you asked back when I got it to let you know my thoughts.
All my undershirts have pit stains. I wear anti-perspirant. Help me find a solution that will allow me to be be within 6 feet of people (when CDC guidelines allow) without contracting armpit cancer.
I stoped using antiperspirant when I saw a patient in the next OR over basically having layers of skin shaved from his armpits. Spoke with the surgeon afterwards and he explained it’s rare occurrences resulting from antiperspirant usage and the patient has to have that procedure done every few years. /coolstorybro Just deodorant for me. Sure they perspire, but it seems damn unnatural to block my body from sweating. And I’ve had a clogged pore on my foot, that’s pretty damn uncomfortable. So, hard pass on putting any of that shit on the soles of my feet.
Iirc it’s the aluminum in the antiperspirant that is bad for you. If you use it enough it can block your pores from excreting sweat.
Looks like I'm getting healthier during the pandemic by not showering and putting on new deodorant every day
Giving native a try. Taking off the last two weeks of the year, so should be a good time to transition to a natural deodorant from what I've read about that process. Thanks for the recs REGGNECK and Thoros of Beer
I’m showering everyday out of boredom, but also only wearing deodorant about once a week out of boredom.
I tried every man jack aluminum free and it ruined the pits in two of my favorite shirts so I went back to normal. What a pickle!
Been on schmidt's deodorant for almost a decade. I use the little tubs and not the stick applicator Cedarwood + juniper scent
