So who you guys think starts at QB tomorrow? Who SHOULD start? I'm going with Art. Vedral is most likely still too hurt to be effective with his feet and his arm is weak. Did anybody else notice the running lanes open up for our RBs once the D had to respect Art's arm and not stack the box on every down last week?
King Artur for sure. I don't understand the turnover argument either because Vedral makes just as many bad throws as Art, maybe even more.
So Langan. That's all he's running is the Jabu package when he's in. Wanny and Brohm are the only coaches that have fallen for it every time. Down after down.
Why can't you just respect the fact that Jabulani Lovelace is a hilarious name and I just wanted to say it.
I hope Art gets the start and balls out. Him turning the corner and being the answer at QB for us would be ideal for so many reasons
Gleeson seems to really have helped Art's development this year. I know not everyone is a PFF fan (I am personally), but his improvement has been massive from 2018/19 to this year using their grading. 2018: 27.0 PFF grade 2019: 51.3 PFF grade 2020: 71.3 PFF grade For reference, they've got Vedral graded out at 60.0 on the year
A year after adding a lot of depth to the roster via the transfer process, Rutgers is back and involved with transfers again and the latest addition is along the defensive line. Ifeanyi Maijeh, who was recruited to Temple by current Rutgers defensive line coach Jim Panagos, will re-unite with him with the Scarlet Knights. He announced his decision moments ago. He was recruited to play defensive tackle, particularly as a 3-technique, by Rutgers. As a grad transfer, he is eligible for the 2021 season and does not have to petition the NCAA for a waiver. He has two years of eligibility remaining. It transpired quickly since Maijeh just went into the portal Thursday, but there is more connection than just Panagos. Maijeh visited Rutgers when he was a senior at Brooklyn Poly Prep, but he was not extended an offer at the time and committed to the Owls shortly thereafter. He committed to Temple in the 2017 class, and he emerged as one of the Owls' top defensive linemen in 2019 when he made 52 tackles, including 6 1/2 sacks. He made 15 tackles in seven games this season.
IDK if ya'll saw, but ya boi was first with the Ifeanyi Maijeh scoop on Rivals Also, fuuuuuuuck Geno VanDemark. From Brian Dohn...
Good for Schiano and staff for not letting GVD use us as a back up. Let him rot in East Lansing. Missing out on Estime hurts, but the portal has been wonderful for us.
there's a reason we won the turnover 4-1 and still lost. we played 9 games in a row and our all american linebacker got knocked out in the first half. nevermind our back up qb not being able to throw a screen pass. nebraska played a dominant second half, but it was clear our guys finally ran out of gas. this post game is hilarious, acting like nebraska finally figured out all of their problems in this game. they beat a team that had nothing left by 7.
Seniors Olakunle Fatukasi- fantastic season, he's likely gone and an NFL Draft pick Tyshon Fogg- likely not athletic enough for the NFL, missed some time with injuries, would be smart to come back but not sure Bo Melton- first year playing in a real offense and produced, does he come back one more year to improve his stock even more? Tre Avery- good season but still hurt a lot and doesn't have much film out there, 50/50 he stays Brendon White- monster game week 1 but was injured and struggled since, missed 4-5 games, have to think he comes back Nick Krimin- 5th year senior already so might want to move on Adam Korsak- goat punter, just come back dude rugby punters don't exist beyond college Michael Dwumfour- was disruptive when healthy, undersized for the NFL, could go either way on coming back Julius Turner- 5th year senior already, undersized for the NFL, I say he comes back Jovani Haskins- probably comes back I guess whatever
Remarkable restraint, gentlemen. I was sure someone would jinx it (by posting something) when we were up 10 with about 9 to go but I’m proud of you all. it took a lot of self control for me not to hit the post reply button several times over the last two minutes.
Hopefully we come full circle and land Jack Coan. For those who don’t know Flood was fired while visiting Coan’s high school which then resulted in this photo
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.nc...-kansas-rutgers-and-xavier-climb-power-36?amp The quote under Illinois’ ranking was even more flattering than the one under ours. 12. Rutgers (17): The Scarlet Knights had quite a week by beating Maryland on the road and taking down Illinois at home Sunday. 19. Illinois (14): I’m not getting off this bandwagon. Rutgers is one of the best teams in the Big Ten. There is no shame in losing on the road at the RAC.
They're feelin' themselves today and OSU is really rattled. Wouldn't surprise me if this one is a route
