Let Jones walk. Paying running backs is, almost always, dumb. Williams can be kept for a fraction of the price.
I love Jones and Williams... But Jones hasn't been that great after coming back from injury, which maybe he's still not healthy or maybe it is just bad luck. Either way it is reason to second guess paying him. I imagine we can probably afford no more than one of Jones, Lindsey, or King. And I don't know if any of them are worth market rate.
I may have said this earlier but Rodgers being on the Pat McAfee show all year has been amazing to watch.
its about as real as you will get from a famous athlete talking about the game & life. Him and Pat’s rant on hotel stays the night before games, at home, was great this last week.
Will be interesting if he shows up or just retires. Sounds like he did not want to play in Green Bay coming into the season but why would that matter if he can just latch on for the playoffs.
Or whatever podcast app you use. Always has time stamp in show notes so just forward right to it and don’t have to sift through the other bullshit.
Can't wait to see how many posts are made today by the Bears contingent crying about the refs and not understanding how a delay of game penalty is called. go pack go.
First QB with ten games of no ints and at least 3 TDs in a season 147.9 rating Had 14 games games of 100+ rating
According to @PFF, #Packers CB Jaire Alexander gave up just 35 catches over 563 pass-coverage snaps in 2020. QBs averaged 4.9 yards per attempt against his coverage. 13 pass breakups and only 1 penalty. No. 1 rated CB in the NFL by overall grade and coverage grade.
Rashon Gary has been really good lately too. It's from the fuckface Mcginn but this is his write-up for grading the OLBs.
For me, and my untrained eye, 3 huge things have changed with the defense. - Gary has played great run defense and consistently gets pressure. He is still ‘raw’ but as a #2 *co* option he is great & his work-ethic is apparent by how much he has improved. - Pettine has finally put Savage in a position to make plays & as a result him and Amos have become *maybe* the best safety combo in the league. Absolutely the best the last 5-6 games of the year. - Jaire can just be stuck on a fucking island. You don’t have to worry about him. The guy shuts down 1/2 the field. It allows them to devote another guy in the box (run defense has benefitted arguably more than pass defense) and shade towards the slot or opposite side of the field with King or whoever. *edit* almost forgot, but you are playing more middle linebackers to support the run defense. Jaire is the fucking man.
First this is just a hilarious question to even ask, but the comments are even more hilarious. so many Vikings fans aren’t sure they would do it and even a few say that Kirk & Watson are close to the same. lmao as my Packers friend said back to me after I sent this to him, ‘you would think Vikings fans would know a good qb when they see one after getting bitch slapped 2 times a year for over a decade but here we are.’
