We don’t even need a dude who can score 35. Not that it wouldn’t be welcomed but if we could just get a dude who could make an easy look and break the drought it’d do wonders.
This was the same for a lot of the Miles era too but it’d always shock me how we could go 13 minutes without a FG and still be within 10-12
I think Maric was the last big man we had that didn’t feel the need to power dribble/wind up to jump 11 inches and dunk.
Cant disagree. I will say, it’d be nice to bring back a core of this group next season. Just because the complete roster turnover every year obviously isn’t going to work unless we’re recruiting McDs All Americans.
I really hope that happens. And I hope they play together. Question remains whether Fred’s teams have the right sort of attitude to stick together. That was Tim’s downfall and Fred’s culture doesn’t look any better so far.
Yeah, last year they at least seemed to battle. Even this year up until this game they hung around for 25-30min of the game. I think it’s just hard to build that with new guys every year and even harder when you’re losing so many games.
The crazy part to me is that we are not physically disadvantaged like we absolutely were last year, the shots simply aren’t falling. Very odd for a Hoiberg team. Eventually you would think we’ll stumble upon a game where they do fall, but then again, fuck us.
If there was a men’s drinking team we’d be middle of the pack at best in the B1G. Skonny would be the dynasty of all dynasties.
People I know that are already critical of Hoiberg but make excuses for Frost have me triggered beyond belief. 2020 can die in a fire.
Pretty sure I already called the “Hoiberg gets fired for losing a tourney game before Frost ever has a .500 season.”
Didn't watch and I can't tell you how much more enjoyable my evening was. Makes me think I missed out on much needed positivity this 2020 year by watching our football team like an IDIOT.
I still enjoy watching the Bball team. Even if we lose. It definitely gets frustrating when we go 0-15 though.
