Anyone fuck with PGA 2k? Buddy picked it up and wants me to get it, doesn’t have good reviews so I keep blowing him off on buying it.
I like it? Pretty realistic, career mode could use some much needed depth, but head to head vs buddies is fun
I just brought it up and she's like yeah, sometime tomorrow and I said FUCK NO I'm watching football tomorrow
Ok fine. RENT rdr2...see the beauty. Then move on. Especially if you want to finish that list that was posted you don't want to spend too much time having to clean your horse's balls or whatever.
I finished the Spider Man main story... Game is so great. Story was fun and I shed a tear at the end. My wife laughed at me but it was worth it.
HZD is very good. Not the greatest game I’ve played but it’s interesting. In the middle of it but taking it slow spidey is the best game I’ve ever played That’s all I’ve played on PS5 so far. Haven’t played the others. Super excited for Sekiro
I haven’t played a 2k in years. Madden sucks and fifa I’ve burnt out on. Looking for a sports game fix
I’m considering it at the sales price they have now. I am a career/franchise mode only type of player so I worry the MyPlayer (see: MyMTX) is their main dev focus.
Wait shit wait. There’s a next gen edition that is full price. User Bankz, I have deceived you nooooo
I get 2k every year. It’s fine I’m obsessed with Ghost of Tsushima right now though and won’t bother with anything else
Good thing I’ve turned into a old man and fell asleep minutes after our interactions and never downloaded the game.
really thinking of Fifa 21 with the huge discounts haven't played a fifa game in years, seems the champions edition is the best value even if i've never touched the opening packs or ultimate team stuff
I love FIFA, but I also don’t know shit about it compared to American football. With that, I think a lot of the gameplay issues I hardly notice. However, Madden is pretty much unplayable to me now.
im also not a huge soccer nerd but have always really enjoyed fifa when i've bought it gave up on Madden years ago after being someone who'd sink insane hours into it back around ~2010, the gameplay seemed to regress dramatically
Pretty much the same. In college it was a quick way for me to make $20. Played so much I was playing online, was like 22-0 and going alphabetically through the NFL at that point trying to lose. Got back from weights in the morning, started an online game, lost power. Have never played online besides franchise since.
I bought it. Game freezes between holes all the time. Can’t play with the pro golfers. Have to create a golfer. Can’t level up abilities. How you start off is about as good as your character will be. You can get other clubs but they don’t do much.
I don’t have the freezing issues. But yes, there’s no attributes or traits. It’s all about how good you are with the analog. The clubs will add a bit more power or shot shaping, but not much and then that comes with less forgiveness which means your stick control has to be better. The game is challenging, but fun
I’ll be in between holes and it takes like 2-3 minutes to load the next hole. Apparently a problem for a lot of people. The game is fun but don’t like not being to make a monster of a golfer like you could back the the Tiger Woods days.
FIFA’s great because it’s so easy to just pick up the controller and play. Doesn’t require much to figure it out and go.
With the sweet PS5 feature that shows how much you’ve played.. I logged in over 40 days worth of diamond dynasty. Granted I left the thing running over night multiple times, but yikes.
The 2K series is never going to go with the arcade style like the tiger woods games as long as the Golf Club people are developing it. It's a really fun, but also really hard game. Haven't had any of the loading issues, but I did have some freezups on my downswing. There are some amazing created courses on there, too. This and the show are the top two current sports games by a longshot.
