Think we may see a lot of turnover on defensive staff if people aren't promoted. Freeman comes in it may stay close but. If Freeman is hired somewhere else big and a new DC comes in I could see Mickens go with him. Could see Lea take some if a new DC comes in. The only guy I'm 100% sure will be on the staff is Elston
Exactly he will stay here until he's let go. He's not leaving. But everyone else is gonna be interesting
Elko using this to draw up more $$? Feel like be may be a con artist. But if he came back I would change my tune. I wouldn't mind Freeman either.
from Prister: - Banks to the NFL - Brock Wright done (transfer/go pro) - Tremble unsure to stay or go (apparently he got a good draft grade) - Kevin Austin having surgery today
It’s the off-season. This is what we do. Start your countdown for the Kyle Hamilton drug/cheating/catfishing scandal
I misread the part about Austin by the way. They said he would miss winter workouts, unsure about spring practice
Thought Kelly said they were trying to rehab without surgery but wasn’t going to be a go so they went with surgery now.
Prister saying that surgery was recommended but Austin wanted to try to rehab it instead. That hasn’t worked so now they’re doing the surgery they should have done months ago. Ridiculous.
We’re going to beat lesser teams 35-0 and then lose to better teams 63–14. So not all that much different.
Figured Banks would be gone. Tremble is only one that would bum me out. Wright is ok but when I watch film he is the one guy who misses the most from the TEs. Tackas/Bauman will be fine replacing him
How mad is Dump going to be when we take Elko back? His crawling back to South Bend says a lot about Tamu.
Man in retrospect that 2017 team was good enough to win it all Boykin and Claypool would’ve shown out with an qb with a pulse throwing them the ball
I think Elko has some real legs....the prevailing story is some jackass who has since left Nd was not forthright with him in the negotiation so he told Nd to fuck off but is still tight with Kelly
This is the thing that always gets me when people say "How does ND get over the hump?" The simple answer is elite QB. ND is one of the few schools with multiple playoff appearances other than Bama, Clemson, OSU and OU and every one of those schools has had a Heisman finalist or first round pick QB running the team. ND is a QB from being in that conversation.
I am not so sure, Nd doesn’t have anybody like najee Harris or devonta smith. Mac Jones would look like shit playing at Nd.
Kyree doesn’t have the build of Harris but turned in a great year. I’d love to compare him next year to Najee. yes ND doesn’t have a Smith but Jordon Johnson I think was ranked higher. Back to the debate of development.
