Based on performance, Fitzmagic never deserved to be benched in the first place. Dolphins just felt like they needed to insert a shiny new toy with no NFL resume into the lineup just because it was a shiny new toy.
Tua isn't ready to start yet and I think if you're going to just yank him in and out you'll fuck with him more than just letting him be able to develop. But imo I think he's good you just got paste eaters eating paste itt
What's your deal with Tua? I knew who bumped this before I opened it. Is it bc he went to Bama and you're a a UT fan? Bc he's a Dolphin and you're a Bills fan?
I mean trade value wise I guess it would make sense to draft another QB. But I think the dolphins have more pressing needs to spend top picks on idk
You post about him a ton in the NFL thread too. Due to you starting this thread while he was in college, I'll assume it's bc he went to Bama.
100% Idk if it’s the injury or just the speed of the game, but it’s crazy how timid he looks, considering he was fearless at Bama. He’s still young, but there’s a lot of work he needs to do mentally to get his swag back.
I don’t think it’s unreasonable to look at QB’s this draft class. They’ll have had a year to evaluate him, and I think have to look at him in context of where they think he fits among the QB’s in this class.
In small bursts, yes. But you can’t extrapolate that given the whole reason Tua was named starter was because of Fitz’s struggles.
“I don’t care what they do in the pros” Says the guy vehemently defending Tua (when he looks like complete ass) in half a dozen threads.
this is indefensible guys just give it up. maybe he’ll figure something out in the off-season but that arm may not be fixable.
i get that he's a rookie and he can improve (though that arm isn't getting any better...) but he looks worse now than he did in his first action imo.
Does any fan base defend their ex players that are playing bad in the nfl more than Bama guys? I ask this as a hurricane fan whose comrades have spent the past 10 years talking up backups just being on nfl rosters.
