It’s the only option rn. I was running Krig/Mac10 but you can’t outshoot the DMR so I just went ahead and maxed the DMR. Shit is so unfair. The bad thing is that when they eventually nerf the DMR the Type 63 or whatever is basically the same exact gun with a little more recoil. Definitely makes you change how you play. Gotta be beside cover at all times because if you’re in the open you’ll be dead in 2-3 shots.
I haven’t played Warzone much at all since Cold War came out. Being able to change FOV to 120 on console was such a huge change. Warzone feels horrible now.
Did they though? I know they claimed they did but we played a few games yesterday and the DMR still slaps. MAAAYBE a little more recoil but honestly I didn't notice any difference in time-to-kill on my shots.
Yeah, it's still deadly. Especially since its a single fire and you can still have the rapid fire barrel attached.
Yea I was just implying that the nerf was a joke of a nerf. It's still DMRzone. At least it's less terrible in the resurgence trios island. by far the best game mode since Zombie Verdansk and the only mode worth playing right now. BioLabs is the hot drop. Everyone jump onto fire escape and go into the same floor (i like 3rd floor). clear that floor and then move up/down as a team. Almost always has a buy station behind it that's safe for a loadout. Pretty easy to defend once you're the only team there.
lmao, Majic44 and i and another buddy drop there every match. Had 3 straight w’s last night. And yeah the nerf was useless
SIAP - website lets you track the skill based match making lobbies. Pretty neat just search by your XBL/PSN gamertag. Your Team K:D would show how your team is ranked in your lobby. Definitely sheds some light on why some games you're just getting laser'd all game because your team is the 40+th ranked K:D and lobbies where your team is in the Top 5 K:Ds you can make mistakes and still barely take damage https://sbmmwarzone.com/
Second DMR and Diamartti Nerf today. I might try to get some Warzone in this weekend, been playing mutiplayer a lot.
Have yet to even use the DMR but I enjoy and understand the fits about an overpowered weapon in a game.
Buddy told me yesterday the OG M4 is making a comeback. Don't know if there was an actual buff of any kind or just his realization that it's always been a good all around AR for the warzone. Little more recoil than the Kilo Little less HS damage than the M13 Little more damage drop off than the CR
I went back to Kilo w/ Cold War MP5 load out but could swap in the M4. Kilo is a laser though, and the 100rd clip doesn’t hurt.
I took like literally 6 months off, got back on in January... Was fuckin around w the warzone guns cuz DMR and Mac were so OP, but i accidentally clicked on my s1 loadout in a game, which is M4/MP5, and it felt so damn good. I'm pretty sure the MW MP5 is better than the CW MP5, noticed a lot of streamers are starting to warm up to this idea too. Been mostly playing rebirth quads lately. In that I use a mac10/kar98. Also twitch rivals 250k warzone tourney going right now. 5 games, Pts based on kills and placements. The world wins leader Its_iron's team won game 1 and got 2nd game 2.
I haven't played a first person shooter in like 7 years. Dipping my toe in to Warzone. I only do solos right now, bc time constraints (and I fucking suck). Any tips on how to improve? I have been watching some twitch streams just to see how they maneuver, etc. Obviously, I am guessing playing as much as possible to get use to weapons, map etc. But just curious if there is anything else. Right now I am landing in more remote areas to give myself a chance to get comfortable.
You're better off landing hot and engaging and experiencing more gunfights imo, you either win, or die quickly and get more experience quicker
I am terrible at this, because I am terrible, but the better players are always pushing. It’s natural to want to find a landing out of the way, loot, try and get a load out without a gun fight, etc.. but as far as I can tell, cracked or noob, the best strategy is aggression and staying really close as a team when pushing.
FFAR is actually pretty amazing. Super fast kill time. Regarding gun fights I swear taking them confidently is half the battle. -me, an average at best player.
I will say I love the fact that 95% of lobbies are no longer using DMR and double tap killing you every time you leave a building
Will begin to level this today. It’s my favorite gun to grab off the ground early that’s widely available to start.
I see you on my friends list often but wasn’t sure who it was. Now I know it’s a TMBer I’ll send an invite
not gonna lie there was like a week of me playing solo before my crew got into WZ back when it first started and there was no solo mode just trios. I dug my roots and sewed seeds in Farmland every jump just to get the feel of the game. The faster you learn how to loot/switch weapons/maneuver the better and Farmland is a good place to learn. - memorizing the building layouts is huge. you'll notice a pattern all over the map bc they reuse layouts for all residential and industrial buildings in different parts of the map. - getting a loadout is critical. having a loadout that has the Ghost perk & heartbeat sensor even moreso especially in solos. If you can get $10K from looting/doing a scavenger contract and get a loadout before the freebie drops with 0:10 left while the gas closes in the 1st circle, you get a huge advantage besides that it's mostly just figuring out your play style and getting good at it. Some people are big run and gun folks who run in and clear teams out of buildings non-stop while making their way into the next gas circle. Some people like getting Recon (flag) contracts and seeing where the later circles will be - run/fight your way into one of those buildings and set up shop for the end-game. In solos I'd suggest cracking doors to buildings open instead of busting through (ADS + X to creep). Try to be stealthy and not careless. If you're running to a new location, try to run through buildings instead of just running in the middle of the street, especially downtown. One big combat tip that none of my MFing friends seem to grasp - if you're in an open area and see an enemy that's like 100M away. Follow/Flank them and don't engage from a distance you probably can't kill them from in an area without any cover whatsoever. Flank and get into a spot that's got cover and then kill them, and if that option isn't available fuck it 1 kill isn't going to win shit but engaging in a terrible spot and getting pinched by a 3rd party will lose the game for you.
"He saw me" from a teammate who was thirsty for a kill and engaged someone from a half mile away and didn't kill them.... has gotten me killed so many times and I've dog-cussed friends many times for saying that bullshit. "I can't help it he saw me / he shot first" No he didn't I was watching him down my GD scope and he never turned around or fired asshole
These are great, thanks! Farmland is where I drop 90% of the time I try to keep my self moving. There are a lot of campers in SOLO so I need to learn how to clear them out of upstairs locations etc.
You'll figure out the usual camping spots with experience and once you learn the building layouts. It gets pretty predictable, ie - red roof buildings with 2-staircases there's a strong chance of someone camping at the top floor bedroom door across from the roof ladder. Firestation - 2nd floor. Any and Every attic of a residential home. 3rd floor of most of the Lumber/Quarry industrial buildings are pretty dicey.
I’m a big fan of tossing C4 once I’m about three quarters of the way I’m up the stairs in those two-story farmhouses.
Some latinx teens I play w from time to time just invited me. My mic is acting up and I sound like a robot so I’ll save you the headache for now. If my mic figures itself out I’ll join you
TLankAU. We normally have an XBL party going and a few people playing in the 4-8pm central time frame on weekdays.
I'll fuck up a Kar shooter. Better dome me on the first shot or that CR-56 will down them before the 2nd shot gets off. Just gotta embrace the runny slidey shootey when you see the glint. Sprint > slide + aim/shoot It's difficult to do using a controller without paddles or Mouse + KB though. CR56 is the only gun I can do it with from distance. The damage drop off doesn't happen like it does for normal ARs until like 100m+ as opposed to 60-80m
yeah i need to work on the CR56 - i don't even think i'm able to bc i don't have blackops tho i've picked it up off of a few dead squads before and it's a ton of fun
