The delusions of Vikings fans on Twitter are matched by very few in all of sports. Their writers are guilty of it too
In either the draft thread or NFL thread I posted exactly that, I'm glad he's not still around to trade him for Cousins + draft capital
Talk to me about Nathaniel Hackett. He is supposed to interview with us. Does he call the plays or is that more LaFleur?
Nobody knows how he would do as a head coach, but Hackett seems like a pretty damn good offensive coordinator. He is heavily involved in game-planning and has a lot of say. Anybody that has watched the Packers this year (and even last year) knows how well they start games off. From all indications Rodgers thinks a lot of him & the offensive balance has been phenomenal this year once they were able to implement exactly how they want the offense to function.
He also LOVES Goldmember from Austin Powers. Now, normally that would mean absolutely nothing. But Rodgers and the offense have several celebrations that are built around goldmember & they call the red zone the ‘gold zone.’ The way they have jumped all-in on something like that says a lot, imo, about how much they enjoy him as a coach.
I was thrilled to see Linsley get the recognition he deserved, he was outstanding this year. - big EJ was great, and versatile, but probably a year away from being on list. I was ok with him missing out. - Jaire could be named there, but being the 3rd dude isn’t something to sneeze at. I won’t get bent out of shape about 2nd team. - would have been nice for Tonyan to get a vote, but wasn’t going to happen with Kelce & Waller got fuckkkkkeeddd. Only gripe I had? Adams not being named unanimous was lol levels of dumb as shit. Whoever the dumb fuck was that didn’t put him in their top 3 was trying to push an agenda, and it’s a bad one. Adams & Diggs were clearly 1A or 1B this year. From that point it’s Hopkins or Hill. Either is ok. But the other two need to be on every list.
I don't want to say a lot but it seems like there are plenty of people out there who don't want to accept that Adams is an elite, if not the best, WR.
The front office has earned the benefit of the doubt, but man Pittman, Higgins, or Claypool would be nice to have.
Looks like it’s going to be the Rams unless the Bears beat the Saints. Tough defense to go up against but their offense is dreadful. I like the match up. Beats having to potentially face the Bucs and Saints.
Happy to see the the Seahawks lose. If things go bad for us, I couldn't handle it being being from Carroll and Wilson again
They have had the most absurd luck all while being the biggest dirt bags. Very much enjoyed that game.
Rams fan here - hoping we don’t, If we play you guys. Should be a great game. Two friends going against each other. MVP going against a good defense.
OL - Fantastic but we lost Bakhtiari. We have great depth but you don't just replace the best LT in the game with depth. #2 WR is either MVS or Lazard. MVS just runs deep balls, is usually open but drops half of them that hit him in the hands. Lazard is a possession guy. Backs and tight ends are heavily involved too. Really all you can count on for targets is Adams.
Hot take time In 2021 MVS, Lazard, and EQ are going to be a perfectly fine 2, 3, 4 (remember year 2 of Adams?) Dillon will be our starting RB in 2021 I am hoping that the same draft and develop philosophy works with the LB with Barnes and Then just draft a DL and corners this year
One more, Gary will be the second best player on defense next year. And if it's not him it might be Savage
Packers against the #1 defense in the league: 488 yards, 32 points, 28 first downs, 8/11 on 3rd downs, 0 turnovers, 0 sacks
