Evan Wick-Jacory Teemer was a pretty sweet U23 semi. Teemer was down 8-5 with 30 seconds left or so, Wick got a takedown to make it 10-5 to seemingly ice it. Teemer gets a takedown with 15 seconds left to make it 10-7, then another that was CLOSE to a 4 as time expired to make it 10-9. Teemer challenged the call and lost to make it 11-9 Wick.

Just saw today that Hassan Yazdani Charati is 55-2 in his last 57 matches, with both losses coming against David Taylor. David Taylor is 105-14 in his senior level career, and 12 of those 14 losses are against world champions. The other two losses were the same day when he was not 100%. Burroughs x4 (5x champ) Dake x3 (2x champ) Cox x2 (2x champ) Tsargush x2 (3x champ) Tsabolov x1 (1x champ) He is good at wrestling.
Teasdale no longer at Iowa https://observer-reporter.com/sport...cle_cfc684a8-2dd1-11eb-a66d-e38c44115cee.html
Kid needs help. Real help with real structure. PSU tried to reign him in by pulling his redshirt, but clearly that didn't work. He popped for hard drugs within a month of getting to campus. He needs to be in a rehab program
Ohio starting out strong Mueller beat Garrett Green teched Echemendia but Echemendia was winning with 30 seconds left Kharchla just dominated Mekhi Lewis
Big comeback by Sammy Brooks but missing that FALL was a big deal. It's likely going to cost Ohio RTC the dual.
nm, Amar Dhesi managed to take Dom Bradley down. Now I think Ohio RTC wins as long as Dhesi doesn't get teched
So stupid. No one knows who won because it's 12-12 on classification points. Sounds like it's Spartan Combat but hasn't been announced yet. The missed fall was the difference.
Yianni beats James Green via criteria 3-3 Yianni with the Activity point and takedown, JG with the pushout and takedown.
Wolfpack needed a Gwiz tech over Parris to win. Parris went up 8-0 and Gwiz still got the tech. Gwiz-Gable now.
So this is kinda insane to see in print. Flo's domestic 74kg freestyle rankings. Carson Kharchla is 5th and the 4 guys ahead of him have a combined 11 NCAA titles. 1 Jordan Burroughs 2 Kyle Dake 3 Isaiah Martinez 4 Jason Nolf 5 Carson Kharchla 6 Tommy Gantt 7 Logan Massa 8 Vincenzo Joseph 9 Anthony Valencia 10 Hayden Hidlay
Cael had some tweet about late December but who knows. Let them wrestle, they're all Trumpers that don't believe in covid.
my 2021 New Year's resolution is gonna be to follow college wrestling much more closely than ever before
Mizzou looks pretty dang good. Mauller at 149 and Jacques at 157 for them in particular Keegan O'Toole out there now at 165. Their announcers saying he's gonna be big time. He was up 9-2 after 1 on his CMU dude so he might already be
Heavyweight matchup between Matt Stencel of CMU and Zach Elam of Mizzou Three top ten heavyweights on hand in Columbia with WYO's Brian Andrews included
CMU's 125 Drew Hildebrandt is nasty. As is WYO's 174 Hayden Hastings WYO vs Mizzou on ESPN3 at 8 ET is a nice way to spend a Friday night
Mauller just avenged his lone loss from last year with a 10-3 W over Wyoming's Jaron Jensen I think Mizzou's coach is going for his 300th dual W as HC of the Tigers
OSU wrestle offs today. Not expecting anything mindblowing, big matches are Orndorff-Gastank at HWT and Gavin Hoffman-Singletary at 197. Not expecting surprises at either weight but who knows. Echemendia will be interesting as well at 141, wrestling Stickley and D'Emilio round robin.
Dylan D'Emilio over Anthony Echemendia 6-4, Echemendia won the takedown battle 2-1 but D'Emilio got 3 escapes and riding point. Lack of folkstyle background cost him there.
Tom Ryan called 141, 197, and HWT "highly contested" 141: D'Emilio-Echemendia 197: Hoffman-Singletary HWT: Orndorff-Traub Said the winners will go at Illinois next weekend and then they will reevaluate from there.
