No, because they’re separate restaurants, 801 ChopHouse and 801 Fish. Both mediocre chains for their specific genres.
Haven't posted in here in 5 years maybe, but have continued to read for fun. Worked for the company for 5 years, ran the Omaha store, St louis store and st louis fish. Food went to shit when the son took over for the dad and started cutting costs everywhere which lead to lower quality food. He stays out of Omaha and Des Moines so those two are still awesome. KC fish was a disaster but the STL store is fantastic, better food that the steakhouse. Ok back to lurking.

They put it in town center and they tried to make that a trendy type locale but that’s not downtown or midtown, it’s the burbs, cater to your neighborhood. No disrespect for shitting on your crew (still stand by those other 3 are better friend). But then again you say something in StL is “fantastic” sorry, doubt anything in the worst city in the world is above ‘shit tier’ grading.
No offense taken at all. Was just throwing my 2 cents in. Was more pointing out that it makes sense omaha people love it and KC people think it's mediocre as the quality varies greatly by location. That shopping center in Leawood is just a giant outdoor food court. It didn't stand a chance on the far end with no close parking. Feel bad for all the employees that worked there. Kept it open for restaurant week just to make a buck and then closed the doors the next week while everyone was thinking they just had a great week. St louis is home now, but it's still a giant shithole.
Started working in kitchens in college and loved it. Started out trying to be a chef, but realized I lacked the talent to ever be a good enough one to make any money. Started in the front of house to make money while I went back to school and had a talent for it. I run the food and beverage operations at a country club now. Just trying to keep you and Ron burgundy in business ruining teeth and arteries.
