That’s on coaching, no reason why you guys don’t have a half decent backup. Did the TE get the ball more after that?
Why would any receiver want to go to a schools who's Head Football Coach has intentionally started the worst QB over a much better back up in multiple seasons?
Really weird he's transferring. He's pretty decent. I guess he knows he'll never be the starter, but Auburn might only have 1 scholarship RB in our roster. Shaun Shivers is rumored to be transferring
Correct on the first part. Secondly, the first half of the season our TE’s would be running wide open what seemed like every play and the QB rarely saw them. It was miserable. As JT got more comfortable we made a conscious effort to target Darnell Washington more. He made some nice catches and drew a couple PI’s. We split him out at WR too. Another thing, he might be the best blocking TE I’ve ever seen at UGA. He’s a natural blocker.
Bennett, Mathis and Beck are the best QB prospect the University of Georgia can get to play football for them?
Good player. He made some tough catches and was the aforementioned TE running wide open and the QB either never saw him or couldn’t make the throw(usually really easy throws).
He somehow went from 23 catches in 2019 to 6 this year. I thought it was a good move for him at the time but his replacement had 23 catches for 263 and 2 TDs.
I hope transfers/recruits never stumble upon this page where random dudes decide no one should ever go to Georgia. EVER
Not sure how he looked this year but for us he was never a natural receiver which I think will make it tough for him to stick in the league. He'd make a tough catch then drop an easy one off his hands
Played mostly out of position here at DT, but still played well. Good get. Would be at his best as a run SDE in a 4-3. Prob a good DE for 3-4 as well.
Jimbo quit recruiting early in 2017 and then Willie happened so we'll be pretty active in the portal this year. I'd guess we take 8 total
We really had to load up to field a full roster. The last Jimbo recruits/Taggart classes are the lost boys of Tallahassee.
#Wake Forest Demon Deacons Kenneth Walker highlights are pretty impressive. Looks like mostly against the weaker opponents though. Thoughts?
