Mine arrived today as well and I am a fan. Ringing in the New Year in style (by removing them of course)
Just saw that Yeti is making a camping chair and charging $300? Thing better massage my balls for $300
Can't beat them for the money. I went with the socks too for the free shipping and they are not as good as the breifs.
Massive, when the moon is just right and the wind rips, it climbs to double-overankles. We’ve had a pretty decent winter so far on the Big Island, way more consistent than last year. My other board is a battleship and all it wants to do is charge straight downhill. I was a little nervous choosing the new one ‘cause it’s a 50-70L drop, but man it’s a blast. This morning we had a high tide and the wind picked up before I could wait it out, but I can already tell it wants to hook up on everything. It’s a carbon shell so it feels like a piece of paper out of the water, super rigid in the chop too. Can’t wait to get it on some rollers and start to feel it out. It’s also fun in the flat just being on something a little more challenging with room for growth.
Quick note: I live down the road from the high school Cameron Crowe enrolled as an undercover HS student to gather experiences for making Fast Times.
Yeah, it’s 9’9” and 155L. They had a Naish in the store that was 9-1/2’ and 20L smaller that looked sooo nice. Thankfully it was already paid for so I didn’t have to make an expensive mistake buying something that could barely float me and I prob couldn’t ride.
That’s awesome man. My boy and I surfed pipeline a couple years ago to say we had. And hit a bunch of other breaks along the north shore. I’d love to live out there.
Apologies for hijacking the thread but I forgot to include a pic of a paddle I got separately, figured I’d use lil Pokes to soften the blow: Also I got a chance to charge a few this AM. So much fun. It has concave tail flutes and screams like a pterodactyl when you get it up to speed—scared the shit outta me.
If you order the 4 packs, they are $4 each instead of $5. I also bought some of the shirts and long underwear for layering when skiing. The brand sounds familiar. Do they sell it at Costco maybe?
Yep I've seen the brand at Costco. How is the long underwear and shirts? I got the boxers today and they are awesome.
Bought them when they first came out and immediately returned them. The ones I got looked they had combined scrubs and chinos. Felt kinda cheap and looked awful.
Had a feeling over the past week that my blender was shitting the bed. Today was that day. Recommendations? I had a 10+ year old Black and Decker that I suspect I paid less than $50 for. I would like to stay around $100 at the max.
Best Buy has the ninja 72oz for $99 (reg $140). Haven’t had issues with mine and use it almost every morning for the past 3 years.
currently sitting in a steelcase gesture, used it for about a year now. i've been pretty happy with it.
Was just thinking my ninja blender was probably one of my best purchases ever. Going on 5+ years zero issues. Been using it more lately so I ordered replacement cups since I was down to 1.
LadyPokes swears by the Hermes Aeron b/c it’s what they have in many hospitals and she thinks they put a lot of thought into the ergos. She found one refurbished from a company in Cali for her home office when she went fully remote. Think it was around $600, which sounds crazy but if you’re going to spend all day in it, you want something that’ll keep you healthy. Brand new they’re like 2-3x that price.
