Much as I would have enjoyed Deadpool getting bleeped and complaining about Disney's censors, I'm happy to hear this.
Who knew, after all the House of M predictions or speculation otherwise, that the introduction of X-Men to the MCU would just be a Deadpool fourth wall break questioning where he and Wolvie’s invites to fight Thanos were. Or something, I’m not a writer.
Finally watched the latest SW and he was still good, tho he really didnt have much to do. Dont blame him at all for taking the payday.
I saw an article talking about how they could have Deadpool find the continuity stone which is a thing in the comics and use it to break the fourth wall and adapt part of his story and others into the MCU.
Not really I think. Disney/Marvel knows that the show will be heavily watched and they've repeatedly said they are just as essential to this next "phase" as all the feature-length films. These aren't just side stories will no purpose (other than the What If show, etc). I'm actually more curious to see how they managed to tie Black Widow into the main continuity of the MCU, and what purpose it has, since I know Loki, Falcon/Winter Solider, and WandaVision will tie in somehow.
If they use Deadpool 3 to introduce the Continuity Stone and have Kevin Feige as a character in the movie that Deadpool talks to it would be incredible
how old is the MCU now, perhaps Favreau and Filoni are in everyone ears saying, “hey the original target audience is getting much older”
So are we going to treat each new episode of WandaVision like an opening weekend of a movie? Talk in spoilers about the episode from Fri-Sun, then spoiler free come Monday?
should set up a thread on the tv board imo. spoiler in here, talk freely in there. that dynamic seemed to work for the Mando/Star Wars threads.
I'm enjoying the weekly releases that Disney+ is doing vs just dropping the whole load all at once like Netflix tends to do. Gives me something to look forward to each week and helps me remember details better because I'll typically watch a breakdown on YouTube.
I can't remember how far into speculation we went on the show so I'll spoiler it, even though it's based in nothing but comic possibilities. Spoiler Vision isn't actually alive - Wanda hasn't found a way to bring him back to life or anything. She's altered what she thought was her own reality to one where he was still alive and they can be "normal"...but we think it ends up being a lot more than her reality she alters.
That makes me smile uncontrollably but ya gotta take a shot at Falcon for getting his ass kicked by tic-tac
