Yeah it's pretty incredible. NQ down 1.5% and AMD up 4% lol. Damnit why didn't I just buy AMD calls again instead of BA.
I originally bought this right after IPO and big brained myself into selling for some shit stock like a year later. Good times. I’m back in now and plan to forget it’s there for the next decade
Somebody poke holes in this for me. SKT, Tanger outlets. REIT currently with 13% dividend. They’re likely to cut that I have to think. My theory is that those outlets are more likely to survive, or at least survive longer, than traditional mall type retailers.
They are level 2. So no not anywhere close to a fast charger. But it can sustain 4 cars. People don't necessarily need fast chargers if they know they'll be parked at work for 8 hours.
Falling knife my man. Especially mall retail. But if we’re talking about it - I want experiential retail and high end more than I want highway commodity and lower demo clientele. Just me though.
Time to get hedged. Jan 15 option expiry is interesting because you have all the leaps people were buying last year expiring, so some of the max pain numbers look way different than they have looked. VIX expiration is also next Wed so a lot of election hedges will be falling off. Narrative continues to be built with presidency and some China issues in the background.
Id say for longer term energy stuff, look at qualified ship builders for the offshore wind turbines. As of now i believe there are two vessels allowed in the us waters due to the qualifications needed. Each ship will cost $500 million and for these large scale projects lots will be needed.
This is because of the Jones Act fyi. If purchasing from an outside company i believe costs to register are ~$100million.
I have a feeling 900 of my JMIA shares are going to be called away Friday. Hoping they pin it at $44.99
All of these companies need to make new offerings. This is a wild ride and it doesn’t seem like dilution affects these EVs.
I may yolo into ICLN and STPK in hopes to get a 10% bump between now and Biden's announcements on Thursday. https://www.cnn.com/2019/04/23/politics/2020-biden-announcement-thursday/index.html
Have a all three but a lot more in NIO. Picked up my position at 38, so we will see. Also got in on PLUG and FCEL about 6 weeks ago, really happy so far and I see a lot more run in these energy storing stocks.
So my students have a stock market competition that just ended. The winner was a girl who put her money into BLNK (in September) at $7/share, almost completely at random. Second place were three kids who made more than 100 trades over the contest but got most of their gains from TSLA, NIO, ARKW, ARKK, ARKF, etc. I’m sure there’s a lesson there but I’m not sure what it is.
I didn't pick up enough NIO. I thought PLUG was overpriced in the 40s -- I'm an idiot I set an order for FCEL @ 6.50 the other week. I think it got down to 6.60 and shot straight up. pacey you still holding PLUG?
Has anyone seen the story of this poor sap in San Francisco that owns 7,002 Bitcoins but is (at the moment) locked out of his digital wallet because his password for it is on an IronKey hard drive to which he long ago lost the piece of paper which had the password to the hard drive? He has two attempts left to enter the correct password. After the 10th incorrect attempt, the hard drive encrypts its contents forever. He's entered 8 wrong passwords already. As of the time of this post he's out $232,000,000 if he can't figure it out in the next 2 attempts. That gives me anxiety. I don't even want to imagine how he must feel.
