Loved HZD but GoW and Tsushima are much better games, especially with the online stuff now for Tsushima
You can play coop stories and missions as well as legit raids. So you build up your characters level playing as well. It’s separate from the rest of the game. I’d finish the game then play it but it’s a blast if you get with a good group.
The climbing on yellow walls thing is the exact same thing every other game with a climbing mechanic does, just in a different color. Doom has the green-lit ledges, the old GoW has different textures on the walls, Tomb Raider had white chalk marks on the ledges (i believe that was TR), some games its vines, etc. I would much rather have that system than be wandering around wondering if I can climb everything.
Oh so I think the story is better than the gameplay by a massive margin. It's just a lot of wandering around in nothing
Tsushima online thing is cool but got a little grindy for me. Probably would be much more fun with people in a group.
I was helping my buddy setup his and thought the same thing. Have to turn the base and you'll find it.
Not officially, no. Some people said they thought it might be fixed from a late December update but there was nothing in the patch notes to specify that.
It’s hidden in the plastic on either the stand or the ps5. I searched everywhere swearing it was lost. Then figured it out. Wish I had a better memory to help.
Thank you, but I got it the post after me my dog was sniffing around while I was setting it up so it was quite a relief to finally find the screw lol
I was frustrated at my dog too. I was all excited, So she was too....therefore I blamed her for me not being able to find the hidden screw. they should definitely make it more obvious.
Is it safe to talk about games now or is this still the scourge the internet/twitter for drop times thread
How far in are you? The setting is unique, so it can take some time to grab you, but I found the world building in HZD to be first rate. It's also a bit less overwhelming compared to something like witcher. You can complete pretty much everything in 50-60 hours or so
Not sure but I've left it in rest mode a couple of times with no issues. The start up time doesn't take very long from powered off so no real need to leave it in rest mode unless you're downloading something.
Yep. Well, the remastered version available on PS Plus. Trouble is I don't get much time to play. Tess just killed Robert and we're going to go get our guns and shit back from the Fireflies. Shouldn't be any issues with that I don't think. Should be easy.
yep, piece of cake. I love Tess. Never forget playing the first time and realizing with that scene that I was in for a very different experience than almost anything we had seen before.
i started last of us on the ps4 and i got sidetracked and forgot to finish. may give it a run on the ps5
I didn't have a PS4, but I had a PS2 and PS3. Loved the Uncharted series...looks like Naughty Dog kept some elements of that and ratcheted it all up a few turns. Is Last of Us 2 a must have, or nah?
Disagree. I thought the TLOU2 story was incredible, maybe not as much as a standalone but in how it complements the original. TimJimothy play them back to back. I did it a few months ago and was blown away.
I agree with this, a lot of people didn't like the second game, but I think the gameplay was refined from the first one and the story for me was fantastic. Plus there are some scenes and set pieces that are among the best in gaming history IMO
I could have done without Part 2. Fully agree on some points about the improved gameplay and technical achievements they managed but after finishing it I realized I didn’t need to play it. My game tastes are actively shifting though too.
I need some new games to play. Currently cycling through Vigor, Fallout 4, Rocket League, and Show/FIFA
