I know I don't post much anymore and that this has been a tough year / everyone is facing their own challenges right now, but I saw Adam post this on Twitter and wanted to make sure it made its way here as I know a lot of us were on the various iterations of BuffStampede at one point or another and appreciate the work NC has done over the years with his daily NewsStand post Happy holidays to all of you, Buffs and non-Buffs alike! https://www.gofundme.com/f/7vzrg-he...&utm_medium=copy_link_all&utm_source=customer
Pretty sure this kid sucks, but we just needed bodies back there. Hopefully he’ll never have to play. #Tennessee Volunteers
Yup, think they just wanted a body. If he turns in to anything, free money, but I am not holding out hope.
Well crud. This guy KD makes me all kinds of jealous butthurt. Gonna be a fan of CU football for a while
Buffstampede is an absolute cesspool after any loss. My only thoughts are we probably shouldn’t have rolled out there with 49 players (money issue I’m assuming?), and Lewis is the guy moving forward. Appreciate Sam steeping in this year, but he’s not the guy.
If Noyer throws 2 half decent passes, we have 11 more points and it looks half way respectable, which would have been a small miracle with that roster.
When the list of defensive starters missing was announced, I would have been shocked if we kept them under 45. Couple of dropped picks, a few complete misses from Noyer, and here we sit. But I really don't point to coaching as yesterday's issue -- talent discrepancy was enormous. OL was definitely exposed by DL athletes of that nature, but I was not as frustrated with that group as others seem to be -- really, if Noyer makes some throws I think it looks fine and the defense is forced to respect the pass a bit more. Biggest gap I see is athleticism on defense, at all three levels (but particularly LB and S).
That is odd. Not sold on him either way, but the players seemed to like him and he was (seemingly) noticeable in keeping everyone together during the change. So at the very least, I appreciate him for that. Dorrell may have a distinct preference or maybe just wants to show nothing is safe/mix things up. Obviously a big role, really curious who is picked as a replacement.
maybe he’d work out, but a guy that’s been a coach for 30 years and a DC for only 3 doesn’t move the needle for me.
Agreed. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out. Probably end up .500 anyways(he jokes thru the pain.)
Hope he balls out somewhere, but it clearly was not going to be at CU. Too much talent behind him in the pecking order that should probably be in front.
