IDK if anyone talked about how Trae Young mentioned he idolized Steve Nash...nash in turn was disgusted with his foul hunting style of play...and now Young is sending shots at nash
As someone who doesn’t really follow nba and just watches this thread for the lol’s, seems the anti-trae’s are winning bigly of late... whereas it seemed like, for some period before, he was actually developing into a good player (not Luka, but good) for a stretch did he lose his shot? Get a case of the yips? They stopped calling fouls on flops? Why did he seemingly fall off a cliff?
He got put on blast in quick succession by the player he idolized growing up, and by a teammate who happens to be a top 5 player in the eastern conference. That can mess with your confidence
He just had a bad stretch. I think he's learning how to play with decent people around him. Definitely going to be some growing pains.
damn, he really lit up the *checks notes* Timberwolves, Pistons, Timberwolves again, Clippers without Kawhi, George, and Beverley, and Wizards
Trae and the Hawks lost to the previously 8-13 Mavs tonight. Luka had 27/14/8. Trade just continues to look worse and worse.
One FG in the second half, while getting put on skates by Brunson every time down the court in the 4th
Definitely shouldn’t have been maskless yelling in his face but I don’t think it was a flop. He just tried to set a screen on someone a lot bigger
