not your fault, different people have different tolerances and preferences. my brother will avoid trailers for a movie he wants to see for maximum impact. Objectively, that seems like a lot lot of the film was freshly revealed in that trailer, but oh well. you're right - gotta give people a reason to come back.
Yehh, I was afraid of that. Spoiler She would have a chance to make it if they created a new film series around a Bond-type female agent but she won't stand a chance as a woman trying to BE 007
how about people wait for the movie to be released before they criticize the contents of said movie and how it'll direct the franchise?
Looking forward to this. This is going to sound silly, but it almost feels like there’s too much happening in the trailer.
If $600m is legit I don't know how you don't take that offer. They're not making anything close to that at the box office after you take into account that they split half of that with theaters.
I mean even if we get a vaccine early next year and this opens middle of the year, no way people flock to the theaters any time soon. It's just gonna sit on the shelf and then have a disappointed opening.
What I wonder is how this will affect contracts and negotiations for whoever they are targeting for the next Bond. Realistically, will the next Bond get signed and then leaked/disclosed before NTTD hits theaters?
you know they’re currently focus grouping a serial for streaming to see how much appetite there is for a weekly bond adventure
lol https://www.cinemablend.com/news/25...eshoots-for-a-very-unique-reason-daniel-craig may have to continue to delay it as sponsors have voiced concerns of their product placements being outdated by the time the movie comes out
I don't care if James Bond is listening to music on the original Zune during the movie. Please just release this.
Bond’s product tie-ins are the lamest part about the franchise and pointless unless you’re in the market for an Aston Martin. Shit, he was texting on a fucking Nokia in Casino Royale.
The tie ins with Swiss Watch companies are hilarious. Do the people buying them know that they won’t come with the Q Gadgets?
If they go back to shoot a bunch of scenes with updated watches and phones, everyone should be wearing masks because of the pandemic and they should never address it at all
Make Ralph Fiennes character hate Jeremy Corbyn and make it affect his work bc he won’t shut up about it
Corbyn probably hates Daniel Craig because of the mini series he was in where his character foils a plot to make Stalin’s secret child dictator of All The Russias.
Make that part of the movie. Daniel Craig exists in the James Bond universe (like Julia Roberts in Oceans 12) and have Corbyn played by Peter Capaldi
Any Omega owner will tell you 1) it’s the watch they wore on the moon, and 2) it’s the watch James Bond (a fictional person) wears.
The character of Malcolm Tucker has existed in two separate universes already so I say dump Corbyn and let Capaldi give us another round of Malcolm Tucker.
I put on In The Loop last night and my wife hadn’t seen it and she was so confused for a minute bc she thought it was a Veep crossover (and in a way she was kinda right).
I like how most movies just sort of make all the vehicles Fords or all the computers Macs but if Bond doesn’t have the latest versions of roughly thirty luxury brands, Barbara Broccoli will kill herself
It’s both a Veep prequel and an offshoot that occurred while The Thick of It was still in its run. Lots of actors playing different characters but in the same atmosphere. James Gandolfini was the link to get JLD and Armando Iannucci together.
I don’t know why David Rasche isn’t in more comedies. Between In the Loop, Veep and Burn After Reading, he’s got tremendous comedic range (at least as a bureaucrat)
There are tons of British actors with close to flawless American accents but his is probably the best.
