Appreciate this question. Also looking for a new chair. I've been WFH for 5+ years now and have been using a POS chair my wife bought at like Pier 1 or something. Big difference from the Embody I used to have in the office. I'm currently looking at the following based solely on reviews: Herman Miller Aeron or Embody Steelcase Gesture Humanscale Freedom I found a store that carries most of these, and hope to get there sooner than later but this has been on my to-do list for months.
Do that. Aeron almost always gets the #1 spot with online reviews but I cannot sit in one for more than 10 minutes. It just does not fit me, and it’s an expensive mistake to blind buy.
Bought my wife the embody gaming chair (the colors looked nice) for her birthday. She enjoys it, and it is very adjustable. She sits in it all day for work and hasn’t had any complaints in the last three weeks. Before, she had some other chair that she mentioned wasn’t comfortable. It also depends on how you are as a sitter. There’s no headrest, so laying back isn’t practical. Otherwise, the embody feels really comfortable and responsive.
What are some of the better masks you all use? I'm currently searching for some that are reusable and aren't stifling in the heat.
I’ve been working from home since mid-2018 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . I was using a $100-150 chair before and it just didn’t cut it.
32 degrees boxer brief sale is back. I'm gonna buy another 8 or 16 and throw the rest of my underoos out of the damn window
Man I wish I got a kick back on how many got ordered in this thread past few weeks. Actually Todd Bonzales is to thank. Put me on to them a bit back.
I picked up one of their bubble jackets, two pairs of pants, some “sleep” pants, 2 t shirts and a hoodie shirt. Love all of it. Only the actual pants were a little smaller then I hoped.
I knew this 32 degrees brand sounded familiar; we bought a pack of their face masks at Costco a while back and they’re amazingly comfortable
I don't know if I needed 16 pairs of these blessed things, but I also don't know that I didn't need them
Any suggestions on a portable bluetooth speaker for the beach/park/back deck? Looking to keep it around $100. I'm still using my Harman Kardon from 2013 that's too bulky and has a bad battery.
This is a fantastic deal if you don't mind it being red: https://www.bose.com/en_us/products...ooth-speaker-ii.html#v=soundlink_color_ii_red
JBL Flip 5, runs about $120. It is is bulletproof and I use it almost daily from May-October. If you do not like this color, there are about 15 others to choose from.
I’ll add another vote for the Bose that Tegg suggests here. Really full sound, very durable, reliable BT connections, and great battery life.
My step-dad passed away the Monday before Christmas. He was a huge golfer and got me into it when I was a kid. We have gone on a couple of family vacations to Hawaii in the past few years, so I got drawings of the three courses he and I played together. They aren’t listed on the site, but they do custom orders. https://lieandloft.com/collections/prints
I bought a couple packs as well. I saw the deal on slickdeals originally but didn’t pull the trigger until I read the rave reviews from my TMB brethren. I must say these are some spectacular nut huggers.
Ordered ten and they arrived this past weekend, slightly better than our standard bearing ex-officios, great pick up
The JBL one is solid as I use it for golf and it fits perfectly in the cup holders in the carts. However, I also really enjoy this one- https://www.outdoortechnology.com/products/turtle-shell?variant=33123197774 It's a bit clunkier but I like that it's also a charging bank as well. If you're listening to music all day on the beach inevitably your phone battery will die down, so being able to charge it is a game changer.
I think I'm between the Bose SoundLink 2, JBL Flip 5, and Ultimate Ears Boom 3. One thing I just noticed is battery life. Bose - 8 hours, JBL - 12, and UE - 15. That may kick the Bose out of contention. This is a new contender. The 20 hour battery life and charging bank is very impressive. Thing is, I have $100 off at Best Buy and would prefer to purchase from there.
Another vote for the JBL 5. That thing is durable, holds a charge, no connectivity issues, and is loud af outdoors if you need it to be when it’s windy at your summer home.
You're gonna love this. Also, the $30 Anker from Amazon blue tooth speaker is great, I've beat the hell out of it and its still kicking a year later.
Any suggestions on a reasonably priced printer/scanner combo? Don't need top of the line as I won't be using it tons.
I picked this up for home, fax/scanner/printer/etc/etc. Works great and nice clear prints. MFC-L8900CDW.
I second brother, have one as well for home and it gets used a ton no issues. also you can look for this shit forever, so many options.
We had a bunch of Brother printers at our office and I hated them. Always having problems and I wanted to destroy them with a baseball bat. Have replaced all of them. I'm very anti Brother.
Big fan of the consumer Canon Laser all in ones https://www.bestbuy.com/site/canon-...e-laser-printer-white/6343717.p?skuId=6343717 On the same level have never had issues with HPs. Also, always laser never inkjet.
