Don’t get me wrong she’s cool and will be fun to kick it with. Like chakras/spirits/manifesting/spells crazy, basically what you’d expect from a Phish chick who has done multiple tours. Not like try to stab me crazy. So an upgrade in a sense
cliffs: Trey got a new Languedoc and stated officially that the return of Phish will mark the beginning of 4.0. Fellow 3.0 n00bs rejoice!
FUCK I miss live music so bad. Today I’m reminiscing on those epic post show moments. What I’d give to be packed in some shitty hotel room with a few friends and a random wook at 2 AM eating pizza, talking jibberish, and just straight *vibing* to tracks like this
This is making me dizzy. During Gin they flip from one band member to the next literally every 2 seconds
If you need evidence of how much things have changed in the entertainment world and social acceptance of things, we all grew up watching a rapey skunk on Nickelodeon and thought nothing of it.
Goose collaboration with Vampire Weekend. Can’t say I saw this coming. Peter is a fan of them and supposedly one fo the guys from VW is a fan of Goose https://sukadogdik.com/4042/02.mp3?...AmLmTXHZYsQvNr0u0enEPJ8Ei4-771DXu8SrAlvwHFQ30
I know there’s a lot of haters and losers out there that shit on PGroove, but I’ve always liked them. Used to see Brock around Richmond all the time.
I like pgroove . Not one my faves, but enjoy. Brock is talented and no telling how much more good music he can make if he can stay clean.
Stumbled back upon this show after watching that set that Tom posted last night. Really good show. Hope to catch Electron live at some point in 2022/23
Anyone else join the Tipitina’s Record Club? The first album went out this past week (a Professor Longhair recording from his house in 1973), they had a listening party via Zoom last night, and then invited everyone to a Discord server. Some of the guys from Galactic (the owners of Tipitina’s) are on there soliciting ideas for future releases. Pretty cool. TIL James Booker played with JGB for a weekend in January 1976. Per the blogpost and the recording below, he played so much Jerry couldn’t get any notes in - pretty wild http://lostlivedead.blogspot.com/2012/05/january-9-10-1976-sophies-palo-alto-ca.html
